Evidently guys like Bill Gates believe that China is our friend and ally, and that we are wise to send all of the jobs to China.

The business leaders either believe that China is a friend and ally, or they are just greedy and want cheap communist slave labor.

Is Bill Gates a good guy? Or is he just a greedy son of a bitch?

And the British love China, and Hong Kong.

Can we do business with China? And if so then China can also do trade with Latin America and with Africa.

California has lost over 500,000 jobs to China alone, but we will create new jobs.

China needs to become a consumer nation, and China needs to buy our goods.

Doesn't mean to say Australia should sell everything it owns to China, change the national language to Chinese. or allow China to take it over.

His cry for help came anonymously on a university chat site, minutes before midnight. The Chinese student was just months into a notoriously difficult law degree, and he was struggling. His English was "so poor", he felt pressure from parents who had dug deep to pay for his degree, and he was too introverted to seek help. "The whole story [has] turned into a vicious cycle, which made me everyday sad, depressed, overwhelmed," he wrote.

He is not the only one having second thoughts about whether an Australian university education was a good idea.

Can't do a law degree with any success having "so poor" English, in reality....IMO.
Unless of course they change the language in law circles, courts etc to Chinese, as is reportedly happening in some hospitals. The doctors Chinese, the nurses Chinese, the language spoken and writtten in reports etc Chinese.
Like an elderly gentleman wearing a stack hat and riding a bicycle interviewed in one Sydney suburb said on tv one night:

Some politicians and analysts worry Australian universities have made a strategic mistake in their reliance on international students; that in their efforts to raise funds and get involved in top international research, they have over-reached and left themselves vulnerable.
