I think comping QBs from vastly different eras is apples and oranges.

IMO and entirely off the top of my head, Griese was a better QB in his era than Eli is in his.

I agree. Sometimes it's hard to draw the line between the eras, though this isn't the case this time.

Gettleman had heard about the Duke wonderkid as a transformational player and the #1 pick.

He thinks he drafted Zion.
In his defense, if you see your quarterback of the future you take him, regardless. You do not say, get him at 17. My problem is, there is nothing in any of what I have seen to make him better than, say, Tannehill or some other middling but not awful QB, and in many ways that is the worst kind of QB to have.

I think the general feeling is that Jones was a huge stretch at #6.

17? Supposedly he was a consideration if he got to #32 for the Pats.

I thought the Giants were going Josh Allen at 6.

Gettleman is an idiot.

And I'm being kind.

nope

Opinions vary. FTR I hope mine is wrong.

Yeah, but you've got a very small head.

Troll-you really suck at formulating and supporting arguments so you resort to childish insults.

you're pathetic

Maybe so, but I've got your number, pinhead.

Troll-I'm glad you understand and accept you are a pathetic stalker and an insecure piece of shit.

And because of your depravity and insecurity I've changed my #s.

You have nothing.

SSDD

And to suggest that Pat fans are jealous of Eli is beyond laughable.

The troll is the biggest homer on this board and is probably incapable of understanding how fucking inane is homerism is.

TFF

C'mon Rich, you have to admit that Hammy has a way bigger head than any you've ever seen before. I'm sure he's got double doors throughout his house.

Troll

you missed/evaded the points as mediocre minds tend to do.

the last guy on the Yankee or Knick bench is more recognizable to the guy on the street than the biggest Broadway stars or Wall St bankers

and they identify with players heroes.

For example there used to be a pervert asshole who posted here, but he ran away in shame, that among other web-names, called himself 'utley".

and who wet himself when the after the phillies signed Harper crowed about Harper's jersey sales.

the loser schmuck needed to identify with a player and naturally he identified with his favorite hometown dirty-player and a prima donna.

The point was post-Yankee dynasty days, the sports celeb bucket was running on E, and Eli likely benefited from it.

Now go back to wetting yourself in isolation in the NHL forum you perverted punk, so as not to unduly pollute adult discusions

I'm going to quible a bit cap.

I'm not sure how big the troll's head is, but it certainly is the emptiest and devoid of content. So it is probably fair to say he probably has the greatest amount of avaialble empty space  ear-to ear and chin to the top of his pointy head.

Only time will tell. Make sure you come back and apologize, if you're wrong. After all, you have all that experience putting NFL teams together and evaluating players.

No problem, I'll admit to being wrong. Done it lots of times when I am. Something I don't think I've ever seen you do old sock.

I saw it once.

Lin Manuel Miranda would like to dispute your position.

LMM walks down most any street in NYC and 99 of 100 people won't have a clue who he is, unless he's in costume or wearing a LMM game jersey.

There's mass market in NYC of millions who gets fed sports content 24/7 and an elite market a fraction of that that uses ticket brokers to buy $1000 tickets months in advance.

No. I admitted I was wrong about you and your emailed opinions regarding Levine, cap. Funny how you show two faces, despite the size of your own little cue ball.

You may now fuck off.

Your obsession with me is only overshadowed by your inability to ever say anything that even has a hint of fact contained within it, Bitch Levine.
