kid the 99% was derived from the singular focus on Eli's 2 SB wins while ignoring 232 regular season games.

You make no sense

64 times passer rating was 100+ for a reg season game

All part of the HOF resume

And by the way - the game is not over if Tyree drops the ball - but very likely is if Eli throws a pick - and made much more difficult had he not escaped the sack

Now please - be done with it

Kid

I made perfect sense.

That you wish to obfuscate the facts with a baseless charge is clear.

To reiterate, you threw out a new metric "100+ passer rating game, as a quiz, to be answered, with no information whatsoever, but presumably to bolster Eli's HoF credntials.

So I checked the stats and answered your quiz on the matter, BUT then overlayed Eli's # re the stat with a few other QBs, who played in the same period, for roughly the same length of time, so as to create a level playing field, BUT to also put the # into some context.

And I had no idea what I wa going to find.

When I looked up and counted Elis #s I had no idea if 62 (or 64) was a lot or not.

So i looked at some other guys (Brady, Brees, Benny, Rivers) .

And what I found was that Eli's # were well below the more elite QBs in the league, and his career of a paser rating placed him in 44th place among QBs, a rather pedestrain ranking on your cherry picked stat.

So don't get pissed at me that the metric you chose to validate Eli's HoF candidacy, only proved my point that he's has been mostly a middle of the pack QB, for most of a long career.

Wow

What a dick.

That's not the first time I heard that. But when I did I thought it was meant to flatter.

I don't sense that was your meaning.

heh

Don't be pissed-I just used your cherry-picked metric, and put some facts and context around it, to poke a hole in your argument.

As talks continue for a new collective bargaining agreement between the NFL and the players' union, the most dramatic proposal on the table from owners is an expanded regular season to 17 games that could eliminate preseason games in their entirety, sources told ESPN.

Quite a stand by the Eagles' defense at the end of the game. 9 goal-to-go plays by the Packers, to no avail.

I hope that Maddox is okay.

G-Men bench Eli

Jones takes the helm

I give Shurmur credit for being decisively non PC

Gonna go with Jones-Latimer as the new PLUS hookup.

Lookin like Jones-Slayton deep threat for the forseeable future.

We will see what Tate brings.

Eagles Injury Update: Cornerback Avonte Maddox Moving Extremities

By Mike Greger
Updated Sep 27, 2019 at 11:17am
Avonte Maddox

The Eagles earned a potentially season-saving win Thursday night over the Packers. It came with a huge cost.

Cornerback Avonte Maddox left the field on a stretcher in a scary moment. The second-year player collided with teammate Andrew Sendejo with less than a minute remaining in the game in a vicious helmet-to-helmet hit. Maddox lay motionless on the turf for an extended period with an apparent concussion. Both benches cleared in support of the injured Eagle.

On Friday morning, Maddox updated everyone on his status. He is recovering nicely and feeling better. The Eagles haven’t set a timetable for his return.
