Its not the "value" type of player BB likes.
And GB would likely want to a lot of draft capital.
and as boz alludes to, BB's ego might require him winning with a lesser talent than Rodgers.
and there is the prima dona factor
And if he didn't win with Rodgers BB's legacy might take a hit.
Stafford if healed might fit the mold and budget better.
Decent QB, who needs a new team and a chance to restart their career.
He's younger (32) than Rodgers and is under a "reasonable" contract and would give the Pats time to find a long-term answer
But what I've read indicates there could be a lot of bidders-so that might rule out the value aspect.
We'll see.
IMO BB has 2+ years to reboot, as most rational people won't hold 2020 and its general and team specific challenges against him.
But the clock is ticking and it wil get loud pretty quickly.
