Colin K wins round 1--collusion case can continue against NFL owners

https://www.nytimes.com/2018/08/30/sports/colin-kaepernick-collusion-case-nfl.html

The ruling by Stephen B. Burbank, an arbitrator who was appointed by the league and the N.F.L. Players Association, said lawyers for Kaepernick, a free-agent quarterback, had unearthed enough information in the past year for the case to proceed to a full hearing.

Kinda depressing Kaep and his fellow gladiators are essentially protesting the same issues protested by Tommy Smith and John Carlos when I was 10.

I'll pass on a Pick Em. I always forget to make my picks at some point and that messes everything up

I've no idea why I watched off/on Pats/Giants last night, as there was probably no more than a handful of guys who will actually play this year, but its not often I've seen a 86-yard QB "sneak" for a TD.

Carl Banks, (I think it was him) said "7 guys just got cut on that play".

the real hi-light, I hope, is no one got hurt.

Pats are woefully short of receivers, speculation is they either mine the Sept 1 player cut-down dump or trade a D-lineman for adecent WR (Golden Tate is the rumor du jour)

Winning off the field... and so far, in the courts.

The new ad, which Kaepernick shared on social media Monday afternoon, features the message: "Believe in something. Even if it means sacrificing everything."

Nike signed Kaepernick in 2011 and kept him on its endorsement roster over the years. The company had not used him in the past two years.

"We believe Colin is one of the most inspirational athletes of this generation, who has leveraged the power of sport to help move the world forward," Gino Fisanotti, Nike's vice president of brand for North America, told ESPN.

So now you make picks?

heh

Thats the way (Atl +2) I went tonight.

This game is wholly representative of what we've come to know as Thursday Night Footbal.

I can only remember to make picks when the game is about to start. I'm a deadline guy.
