Suddenly realized I no longer care about most mock drafts. Tho the last multi-rounder I looked at mentioned a DB named Chauncey Gardner-Johnson to the Browns in R2. I'd like to watch him. Respect to his parents for the name.

2nd Round?

Any concerns about him being there for the Browns?

I have zero clue who will be available at 2/17.

Not quite the response I was expecting, I thought you might go with, “In a garden, things grow . . . but first, they must wither; trees have to lose their leaves (turn BROWN) in order to put forth new leaves, and to grow thicker and stronger and taller. "

PI calls now reviewable

Saints tears worked.

http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/26367953/pass-interference-now-reviewable-nfl-officials

PHOENIX -- NFL owners have approved a massive philosophical expansion of its replay review system, bowing to pressure from coaches and fans who were outraged by a missed pass interference call in the NFC Championship Game.

For at least the 2019 season, pass interference -- both offensive and defensive -- will be reviewable, the first penalties and judgment calls ever to be added to the list of approved reviews

Coaches proposal
« Reply #950 on: March 26, 2019, 09:51:41 PM »

Apparently the Coaches had voted 32-0 on another proposal to make ALL plays (rouching the passer, etc) reviewable and aren't thrilled with this compromise.

Its a good bet this results in one reffing standard for 58 minutes (let 'em play) and another for ticky-tack BS incidental contact/PI calls in the the last 2 minutes

I am grateful to Greg Schiano for his years of service to the Patriots and his commitment to the New England community.

Pats fans... the Giants #17 pick is in play for a trade up to draft your TE.

Caveat being the Giants targets at 17 are gone and they haven't already used the pick as capital to move up.

Pats usually don't trade up, BB often trades down to pick up additional draft picks.

As I recall there are supposed to be a few attractive TE in this year's draft so maybe the Pats snag a guy with a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

IMO their priorities are young edge guy/rusher WR (several) TE, LB, CB, QB
