Never.

And that's probably 25+ competitions

Boz-are you picking winners or against the spread

Not sure about that. Wasn't there some sort of "biggest egomaniac" competition a few years ago? I also remember some sort of "biggest dolt" competition.

And upon further reflection kid has won Elba's village idiot award for so long, there was a serious consideration to call it the "Carter Kup"

I feel like I'm going into this season totally blind re the NFL and the Pats.

No idea what to expect from the Pats, but my expecations are low, with a new QB and very few skill players on offense.

D was great last year, but between FA and opt outs for covid, I don't know about them either.

The secondary should be pretty good.

They're being sold as a ground and pound team

I got my doubts and I think they've a tough schedule.

And I will be adopting an NFC to follow.

I'm all in on Tommy's Bucs.

as I think the Pats will blow, I feel no guilt sharing my loyalties.

if the Pats can't win it all-I hope TB12 and Gronk can.

Iwould have to care about the result to be brave.

Three teams I think will not be as good as people think: Baltimore, Arizona and Buffalo. Baltimore and Buffalo have the defenses to win but I think in the end no quarterback is ever great without being really good at the prime job of being a quarterback.

I think KC wins it all. I also think both the Giants and the Browns will be better than they are being picked to be.

Brady gave me a shit ton of fun and excitement for close to 20 years, I'm a huge fan of his and wish him nothing but success in TB.

Not a referendum on Newton, but my concerns about

a new QB learning a new system

a new QB with no pre-season to speak of

a team which is woefully short of talented WRs

so I have concerns about the offense

The D should be ok but they are missing a lot of talent from last year (mostly LBs)

the AFC-E is probably a year away from being decent, the Bills might be the best team in the AFC-E

Any reasons why a team you are wholly unfamiliar with are going to be a bitch to contend with?

I see them at best as a 8-9 win team

I like Newton -
also like Edelman in a starring role.

Defense loses some studs.  Like you said - East no beast.

Edelman is 34 and already banged up and was in a starring role with a guy who knew his moves better than Jules did.

I like Newton too and hope he returns to form, but I suspect the learning curve could be steep for him.

The team sounds like its modeled after the 60s Packers strong D and good running game.

sounds like an offense geared to score 17-20 points, so D better be good,

8-8
