Brees suffered three fractured ribs on the right side of his chest last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He then suffered two more Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers.

None of the injuries were known until he underwent X-rays on Monday.

One of the worst chapters in my life involved a cracked rib and a collapsed lung (Brees also has the collapsed lung) I incurred in a skiing accident.

Inflating a collapsed lung with a chest tube was the worst pain I ever endured.

The nurse in the small Vt hospital told me, "roll over on your side, grab the gurney rail, his might hurt a little".

then the fucking witch stabbed me in the chest.

Those games were nothing on the pain level of that chest tube.

Nobody likes losing a game. They build character.

You should try a chest tube it'll broaden your perspective and open your eyes to a whole new level of pain.

This happened about 30 years ago, i still feel the pain.

kid-what I've told you for years is you there is a very high probablity you will be no more prescient at calling a full slate of games ATS than you would be a predicting heads or tails on 256 fairly flipped coin.

and you prove it every year.
