Picking slates and coin flips definitely dissimilar.   If you did 100 100 flip simulations, the range (heads minus tails) would be greater than with picks using supplied information (trends, injuries, weather, etc). 

I will note that you not only DID begin to pick full slates in the 2018 season but looked to RUN the pool here at this site.  So any aversion now is a change off what you "liked" to do in the past, reasons unknown and likely to be unstated.

Kid I used the coin-flip comparison because its holds as a ATS gambling analogy. 

Picking straight winners (aka moneyline betting) is a far different game that ATS.

ATS in essence give you a rough 50-50 probability of correctly picking winners and in that way it is similiar to the probability of predicting a fairly flipped coin,

ATS is set up that way at -110 line to make money for the house.

And I ran pools here as I recall on a straight win basis. IIRC one year I asked if there was any interest in an ATS pool and not one of regulars wanted to make that change. Too much work.

I think we might have done a yahoo run ATS play-off pool one year, but I don't really remember it clearly. 

But I haven't run a pool here since you wet your pants in a 2016 over your attempt to past post a game. (Giants-St L Rams iin London)

You can sum me up on winners if you like using moneyline though of course can't get a proper dollar figure.

IMO you're a bullshitter and delusional, Nobody believes you.  PERIOD.

I've seen your sports handicapping for about 25 years and to my knowledge, other than 1 KO pool, you've never won any competition held in that time, including my MLB and NFL pools, whiskey's college football bowl pools, March Madness and other group games. 

And as to you moneyline baseball picks, as I recall a couple of years ago, you ran up around a $2,500 in losses in about a month into the season blamed the "system" and started over with a new and improved system and lost about $2,000 pretty quicky, and then stopped making picks.

Nonetheless, I and the other Elbanese, have heard endless stories of your great successes in other pools, games etc.

I've no doubt in some corner of the interweb you'll go 15-0 today.

You don't get to run a successful no money fantasy league for the better part of twenty years, keep it alive, if the atmosphere isn't above board.

Fantasy football, basketball, baseball, pick ems - all the scoring is documented.

My two brags were in NFL national pick contests, of which you have all been invited to join.  My performance has been mediocre all told - which is expected.  The couple of times I have been up there in the ranks - yes - I posted some self-backslaps.

This included a great run last season, again - documented picks here - and not commented on by you as previously stated
