Marty had 100 more wins than Hall of Famer Tom Flores, set off by 49 more losses. Winning Super Bowls means a lot to voters. Marty S has the most wins of any coach who did not coach in Championship game -.though he came a drive and a fumble away from it.

Schottenheimer's first and only season with the Washington team started with the team going 0-5 and finishing 8-8.  He was then fired.

Another Washington coach started 0-5 in his first season and had his team rally to finish 8-8.  That coach wasn't fired.  His name was Joe Gibbs and he won the Super Bowl in his second season.

Ratings are in and were somewhat down, attributed to the lack of competitiveness in the game.

Somewhat down?
Worst TV ratings since 1969
Least watched since 2006.

Happy GOAT Day!

Today is the birthday of both the greatest football player of all time and the greatest basketball player of all time. Jim Brown is 85 today.

It has been over 50 years since the last time he threw a woman off a balcony, so there is that.

He might have been the greatest lacrosse player of all-time as well.
