This lack of decision will not protect football coaches at all levels or their institutions, because it is not a decision in the sense of setting precedent, but just a denial of cert.

I think it makes sense, both the lower court decisions and the choice to not hear it, but I think the concussion issue is going to have folks banging their heads on it for a good while yet.

And if I were a Pop Warner or PeeWee coach, league official, or sponsor, I would get out of the industry so fast! At least with NFL and CFL, there is pretension of consenting adults doing stupid things together for tons of money.

Happy for Jets and Giants.  And Steelers nailed it.

Not even upset Patriots seemed to do well - heh

Pats got the bad-body type QB they seemed to have had some success with in the past.

Tua, AJ McCarron, Mac Jones, the problem with Bama QBs is the program is so stocked its hard for the QB not to look NFL ready.

Hopefully Saban steered his buddy true.

USC caught jets twice with overrated system QBs.

Pretty sure this is why

a)  scouts do not just look at highlight reels

and

b)  they have pro days

The point was that Bama had so much extraordinary talent at the skill positions, and a lot of it got drafted last night, that it can muddy how good a college QB is.

And there is a fair amount of misses in scouting college QBs, as some kids can never make the leap and some kids develop late.

As to Mac Jones, I like the pic,as the book seems to be he's smart, fast instincts-reads, and they'll have time to develop him as he gets stronger and matures. And he's a better L-T answer than Cam

USC QBs fool a lot of people.

I still think Darnold can be good, and I'm a huge USC QB skeptic.
