The use of the NFL's nomenclature "preseason football" means you're not minimizing it enough.  I prefer to use "exhibition game" or  "practice game" (though I'm not sure use of the word "game" diminishes it enough).
"Game-length scrimmage?"

I too once met a girl in Central Park, but it is not much to remember. What I remember is the time John Wayne killed three men with a carbine as he was falling to the dusty street in Stagecoach, and the time the kitten found Orson Welles in the doorway in The Third Man.

I've been struggling with it for decades.

"Bull Shit Money Squeeze" may fit the bill.

NFL Network has 2 nice replays today

Steelers at Eagles

Wash at Patriots

4 PM,  8 PM
If there is a greater waste of time than watching preseason football, it has to be watching a replay of preseason football.

Yeah, I kind of agree - but need to learn whothefuck is a Steeler this year

Wow - JOE WALTON scored 28 TD in his NFL career as a tight end?  Who knew?

Rest in peace, Coach.

Or any college football game that involves MSU.

Too serious a fellow.

It's more fun for most of us when the score keeper doesn't keep making "mistakes."

Kid--As I recall we had a fun competition last post-season we're I went (IIRC) 7-6 ATS and you had an almost incomprehensibly bad 2-11.

For a serious fellow I found it pretty hilarious.

And Josh makes a good point, the fun goes out of a fun competition, when you serially try to game the game.

The picks will be there once again this year

You can set the spreads if you like, rather than use mine

I have been relying on the same group for ten plus years.  Pick exact scores for every game - but you of course can just pick winners.

Please - all join in.  Bank is a prick but won't make it hurt too bad when he smokes us.

kid

I'm not anymore of a prick than any other rational person is when they are repeatedly bullshitted by a bullshitting moron.

If you insist on acting like a dishonest fool, I will treat you like one.

And I may make some picks this year for my own enjoyment in handicapping, as I've done for years.
