I asked a similar question at a similar time in the Pats game thread.

Didn't get an answer.

It seems the Chiefs did not remember the Titans game plan.

I had Tenn at +5.5, but didn't figure this, also didn't figure the Bengals would kick the stuffing out of the Ravens.

Speaking of game plan, Josh went to a heavy dose of early trickeration against the hapless and increasingly hopeless Jets.

The Bama Bomba had a good game

But it was the Jets.

Ugly game for them.

Got Tampa Tom for the 2nd game.

TB12 throws for a 600th TD

amazing.

He's just a system quarterback. (Nobody else can use the same system as well, though.)

It's because the rules changes protect him so much (even if they don't protect others as well).

Modern times. More opportunity. The refs protect him more. TB must be cheating now, or he would not do as well.

(The sounds of the world's saddest song being played on the world's smallest violin can be heard as the Brady haters and dismissers are raised in objection to Brady's accomplishments.)

Congrats to Tom.

Not really a great day for him though

From a fantasy perspective?

He won.

He threw 4 TD no pics

He was up 35-3 at the half.

He became the only QB to ever throw for 600 TDs.

His wife and kids got to see him do it.

Sounds like a day most pro QBs would like to have.

Curious-what QB had the best fantasy stats today?

Three way tie in our league  - Tua, Stafford, Burrow

Brady was 4th.  Then Rodgers.  Then Murray.

TD passes under ten yards should be 2 points less, I believe.

Only finished 4th for fantasy, when out for so much of the 2nd half. Only threw four touchdowns in the first half.

Yeah, "not really a great day for him."

You should have such not really great days, at any age.

Missed 16 throws

Didnt hit much down field, thus low YPA

He also gave a young child with cancer a memory that hopefully that fan will tell his children about.

Brady had a good day.

You still riding Danny Dimes to fantasy glory?

Nah...

But I probably could be.

Good idea though - maybe I will slot Jones into my Russ Wilson-Heineke-Darnold league.

You should be killing me for taking Sam over Mac in my junior league yesterday (fortunately still won my game)

Good job with Cards - go for that cash, yo!  Hope our not having confidence in Mac vs (cough) Jets doesnt come back to bite you.

Kid

I just remembered your post about riding Danny Dimes

I don't follow fantasy #s, curious how did the Pats D rank yesterday?

They played mad and motivated as I thought they might.

Was surprised though at how bad/unprepared Jets D was.

Mac and Josh McD took advantage.

as for the KO pool, as of Friday about 1/2 the pool was gone.

I'll get the results tomorrow.

Ravens may have KOed some.

Didn't see that blow out coming.

Brady resurgence

Checked out the NFL passer ratings

Tom was 4th, 2nd, 3rd in league with Patriots from 2015-2017

Fell in 2018-19 to 12th, then 18th - could be Pats looked a bit at analytics when making the change

Last 2 years with Bucs see Tom at #9 - and now the current #6 in NFL.

Below Tampa, for sure.  Heh.

Well, I was looking for what - 3 sacks and 2 turnovers?

Got 2 and 3, respectively - and a low points against - just no defensive score

They outscored their projection - which is the key to the game - making such a pick.

Tampa
Tennessee
Giants
Green Bay
New England fifth
AZ
Indy

Interesting - the top 4 are currently unowned defenses.  So the top FIVE from this week were available for any team to grab.

note:  New O and SEA still to play
