While the NFL improved their OT rules, MLB has decided to keep their ghost baserunner in extra innings.

I am not a fan of that gimmick.

Giants CANNOT let Drake London fall to Jets at 10.

Make them pick him at 4 if they want the guy as badly as it seems.

By taking him at 7 you prevent the Jets from getting London at 10.  Thus YES, they needed to take him at 4

Um... that's a great time travel paradox, but it doesn't actually work. You can threaten to take him at 7  all you would like, but at 4 they don't know what you will do and they may not believe your threats.

He who gets London does welll, I think. 

As well as if they  had picked someone else in that slot?  Can be debated, as always.

I still prefer Neal and then either Linderbaum or Green. Not a popular combination with many, but IMO eminently practical.
