Admitted?  DK - I dimly recall he, or someone very similar, had a NYTF login called "JMengel" or something like that.  Add to that his claims to sportscastery, and that two of his aliases are Dick Vitale and ESPN - no idea if those breadcrumbs lead anywhere.  In other incarnations, he said he managed a cement factory, so I assume our legs are always being pulled.  I found the video amusing and thought he might as well.
He always pretended that his political personna and his sports.personna were two different people. And also that earlier iterations, like "Dick Vitale" were not him.

And just this afternoon in the Biden thread, he claimed his age is 47.  This seems to conflict starkly with his claim to have been listening to the Lions game when Chuck Hughes died.  Unless he has Dennis Quaid's radio and there was a solar storm that night.

(quotation marks replaced by parens, due to Elba's glitch)

This line from an NPR report on Mr Hamlin's progress (boldfaced by me) got a cackle from me and the missus...

Doctors said Hamlin has been walking since Friday, and has also been eating regular food and undergoing therapy. They said he was on what medical professionals say is a (very normal)or even (accelerated trajectory) in his recovery from cardiac arrest  -  which is considered a life-threatening event.

The officials were correct on the re-running of the third down play.
Stevie Wonder could have thrown the flag on Ossai.

Cinci should spend less time bitching about officiating and more time scouting offensive linemen.

I thought this place would be bristling with impassioned diatribes and angry screeds on the seriousness of jersey grabbing.

Somehow I thought Liquid was keeping the site going for the Sports forums.
