Bosox9er is the designated complainer about reffing here.   And Red is the designated reffing apologist.

Neither has checked in yet.

Nothing to talk about.
Bradberry admitted he was guilty of holding.

March 2024...Vegas...my (Australian) NRL 'National Rugby League' season is to kick-off with a multi teams spectacular or something.
Rugby League...videos on YouTube.
Not to be confused with Rugby Union, different game.

Rugby League...13 players per team on the field at any time, 4 'bench' players, ...replacements.
No helmets, no shoulder pads, just mouthguards and muscle.

Basically same deal as NFL...pass the ball, get tackled, score touchdowns, kick goals, kick ahead.
But, ball must always be passed backwards.

Also, when player is tackled he must rise to his feet, put the ball on ground and then tap it back with foot to a player behind him...and play continues.
Team gets 6 tackles in possession then must hand the ball to other team.
Teams usually kick ahead on 5th tackle.

YouTube "Queensland's 30 Most Memorable Tries" is instructive.
'try/tries' = 'touchdown/touchdowns'...ball has to be forced onto the ground by hand or torso.

Given yesterday next week's Maimi/Bflo game should be epic.

Frank Ryan, the QB on Cleveland's last Championship team in 1064, has died. I would make a joke about my team's futility, but the man has off field accomplishments that merit major props.

Frank Ryan was also the author of that noted page turner, A Characterization of the Set of Asymptotic Values of a Function Holomorphic in the Unit Disc". I could not put it down.

Of course thrilled to see my Browns in the playoffs, but. I am almost equally thrilled to see Matt Stafford finally bring playoff football to Detroit.

My first round picks: AFC: Buffalo over Pissburgh, Kansas City over Miami, Cleveland over Houston.

NFC: Dallas, Detroit, Tampa.

I don't think I have seen a team collapse as completely as Philadelphia has. Unless it is Jacksonville.
