But it will...and it is obvious it will.I got stuck on whether he meant there was never a case for an expanded playoff, or never a case for any team except the four chosen, but since both are equally wrong I guess it does not matter. The first year there was a case for TCU and Baylor, which means there was a case for an expanded playoff. There was a.case.last year for tOSU or UCF so there was a case for at least a six team playoff. Mind you, I have no real problem with the teams that have made the playoffs, outside of my philosophical disagreement with non-conference champs. But that does not mean there wasn't a case to be made at least for the absent Power 5 champs each year.
