Again, another case that you do not understand.
I understand it fully.
No, you do not.

I read the decision.
You did not bother.
I did. What is more, unlike you, I understood it.
Obviously, you did not.
Obviously I did. Just as obviously you are incapable of comprehending what you claim to have read, Otto.
What I read was the decision and the reasoning used by the Justices.
What ever you read is irrelevant since that side did not prevail.

Today, the Court puts bump stocks back in civilian hands. To do so, it casts aside Congresss definition of machinegun and seizes upon one that is inconsistent with the ordinary meaning of the statutory text and unsupported by context or purpose.

Justice Sotomayor calls Bullshit in her dissent.
Just because the stolen seats occupied by conservative and corrupt politicians who pretend to be Justices prevailed does not make the decision any less ridiculous.

Thomas needs to be retired. Due to the fact that he does not know which end of a firearm is important, a cleaning accident might work faster than his conviction for soliciting bribes.

The conservative movement is only capable of sabotaging the United States in its war on everything good and holy.

The other five assholes concurred

SCOTUS ruled 6-3 overturning efforts by Trump AND Biden to  outlaw bump stocks on guns.
For the umpteenth time the Court says that is the job of Congress according to the Constitution.
Which of course is not the issue.
which, of course it was to the Court.

Bump firing is a balancing act. The shooter must maintain enough forward pressure to ensure that he will bump the trigger with sufficient force to engage it. But, if the shooter applies too much forward pressure, the rifle will not slide back far enough to allow the trigger to reset. The right balance produces a reciprocating motion that permits the shooter to repeatedly engage and release the trigger in rapid succession.

Justice Clarence Thomas

I swear I did not see an appreciation for the skill involved in mass murder coming from SCOTUS!

Quote
What Thomas wrote in his opinion
All that a bump stock does is accelerate the rate of fire by pulling the trigger in rapid succession.

Congress outlawed machine guns.
The law can be amended or changed by CONGRESS! As SCOTUS explained.

Yeah, sure and watch the 2A AmmoSexuals go fucking nuts. It will happen with a Democratic majority starting in 2025.

BTW

If a weapon fires like a machine gun, it is a machine gun.

It was a sucker bet.

Trump and the NRA knew they would end up kicking this to SCOTUS.

Trump was faced with an unpalatable choice: do nothing and alienate mainstream voters or push Congress to legislate a ban, which would infuriate some gun-rights voters in the GOPs base and highlight divisions within his own party.

Trump found a third option that lowered the temperature on the gun-control debate in the short term - robbing momentum from congressional efforts to ban bump stocks - and kicked the issue to a conservative-leaning Supreme Court.

Taking a cue from the National Rifle Association, Trump used his executive authority to write a Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives regulation banning bump stocks

LOL! Read the opinion. Concurring  Justice Samuel Alito wrote that while the Las Vegas mass shooting strengthened the case for amending federal law to ban bump stocks, it did not give the executive branch the right to do so unilaterally. Now that the situation is clear, Congress can act, Alito concluded
Trump banned bump stocks and Biden defended him which the Court has ruled unconstitutional.

Companies that steered clear of Baltimore during the cleanup will likely come back now that the channel has been returned to its original depth and width, officials said. The port, which processes more cars and farm equipment than any other in the country, is expected to be operating at normal capacity by mid-July.

Eight Tajikistan nationals with ties to ISIS were busted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) Joint Terrorism Task Force in three major cities .

All eight Tajikistan nationals crossed the U.S. southern border illegally, and according to a federal source familiar with the sting, no derogatory information was initially flagged with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) or with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) during processing.

But, but, Hairy says the border is not open.
People entered the country illegally when Trump was president by the hundreds of thousands. Was the border open then? And just what is it you suppose underlies the "processing"?
Then do not vote for either Trump or Biden.
Save our democracy!

No strong convictions than vote for Biden. No entry from Muslim countries under Trump. The suicide kills for Allah came to an immediate halt
How many have there been under Biden?
Including the 8 this week?

Were caught, no? Otherwise you would not know
look it up

Emphasis on THEY WERE CAUGHT.

Hunter Biden was found guilty by a jury in Delaware!

The reaction from MAGA personalities was swift. Many expressed relief that the criminal justice system decisively meted out punishment to the offspring of a sitting Democratic president, and acknowledged that their previously expressed fears that the system is rigged against Trump have proved unfounded.

Just kidding! MAGA personalities are already claiming the opposite!

Neither leftists or anybody else in the US need feel compelled to listen to moral hectoring from an aged reactionary living thousands of miles away.
Then why do you?

Because laughing at bambu is almost as much fun as laughing at you.
