I addressed your obsession with all things Boston, in this instance, you created a false narrative to mock them. I pointed out they were one of what turned out to be less than half of MLB teams to boycott today's game. I dealt with facts you dealt in innuendo which was easily disarmed.

I thought the Mets Manfred PR stunt story was far more interesting than your troll of the day which as usual was stupid and off-mark.

and Betts is currently 0-for-2 in the 2nd game of today's LAD-Giants twin-bill,  afer going 1-for 3 in the opener.

I read last year that African-Americans account for about 8% of MLB players down from around 19% in 1975.

Last year and for several years before that (off the top of my head) the sox employed at least 3 A-A ballplayers, JBJ, Betts and Price (12% of the 25 man roster) or about 50% higher than the MLB average. If I took a look at their 40 man roster I would not be surprsied if I discovered more A-A players.

And as we know the Sox tried for the past two years to sign Betts, first a 8-200 million deal after 2018, and then 10-300 million last year. But it was not to be and they packaged Price (under a long-term contract) and Betts who it appeared would be lost to FA, and traded them to the LADs to max-out their return, and get under the salary cap. Nobody liked the trade.

except of course mindless trolls, who foolishly look at the trade and assign darker motivations to it.

Josh-its a pretty fair description-Utley was lacing his sneakers when the hammer came down on him.

Utley, as you may recall, went on several forums (AL, NFL, and Trump and maybe another) and in a way over the top diva performance cursed me out, made his usual libelous charges, all because I made him look dumber than usual in some argument, and he wet his pants. So he set the stage for his dramatic exit. He's done it 3 or 4 times in the past and he always comes crawling back 2-3 months later. Except this time he got "banned" and re-registered under his next new handle, Uno. 

I see no reason why Utley would act any different this time around, do you?

its often been said "don't feed the troll"

and those words are worth considering as Elba has become infested with trolls.

and we know our resident Philly troll needs and feeds off of the attention and drama he tries to create with his obsesions and trolling.

and as "old as dust" as these might be,  the last dust-up was about a year ago when Utley couldn't deal decently in a discussion, and went on a hateful rant and was  rightfully and finally banned.

I've mostly ignored his bullshit since he crawled back here wearing a new mask, (but his fingerprints were clear) except when I told him to knock off his racist baiting of Knicks in the Trump forum a couple of weeks ago.

But Utley clearly wanted to fight here-so for old time sakes and I was bored, i smacked him in the mouth with facts that exposed his narrative as false. And he had no rebuttal. He never does.
