Oh, come on, kid. It's the Mets. This is how it works. The big signing, and then later on disaster and second guessing.
At least now the Mets have someone who can help them try to buy their way out of their mistakes and misfortunes.
Too bad the GM will only get the blame, if things go wrong, and the owner will get all the credit, if things go right. THAT, in a nutshell, is why the Mets had trouble landing their GM.
