Quite the pinch hit at bat by Nuñez.

If Alex Cora hits on 20, you can be sure the next card is an Ace.

Yay!

A good game. Winning when Sale only goes 4+ is a big plus. Driving Kershaw out at the same point was an unexpected turn - he does not give up 3 runs in 4 innings very often, let alone 5.

Both sides used their bullpens thoroughly, though not the LA closer. I wonder what impact that will play going forward.

or even 4+.

He's not right. might want to double check the belly button ring in the off-season.

His speed was up tonight and his contol better, if not yet Sale-esque.

I miss mid-summer Sale, that guy was near unhittable.

His command is still off.

I hope he's ok.

Roberts let Hill throw to Noonie?  Or had Hill been brought in for Devers?

Nice to see the OPS likely won't again be sub 600.

Solid offensive skill set

Still shouldn't have put on the 30 lbs.

Hill didn't pitch last night. The HR was off of Wood who was brought in to pitch to Nevers.

Yep.  Lefty - same gist.

Thanks for the info.

Good piece on Bernie acquisition in the Post.  Yanks mabbed him for 16K, double what they initially wanted to give.

Funny sport sometimes.

My only concern about 10D was his mid-season power outage.

I expect his power to develop and increase as he matures (and adding weight and muscle is part of the process).

He's a 4-WAR 5-tool player and I've no idea why you've ragged on him for the past 2 years.

3.9

I think his defense is overrated, especially by the press.

Sure playing in a nice hitter's park.

Would be a great 6 hitter.  Shouldnt be up in the order vs LHP (.247/.694).

Will he get much better?

Not sure.

heh

you do know that

rule of thumb considers 4-5 WAR players as All-Stars right?

and 10D is just 24, and is a couple of years from entering his prime.

and he's hardly the first BoSox left-handed batter who figured out the advantages of oppo field hitting at Fenway

and he's done a good job in left, and likely losing some range points with JBJ in CF.

No you probably don't.
