Israel can defend itself perfectly fine without triggering World War 3. You somehow think nuclear weapons are ordinary weapons.
weapons.
For over a year we have heard Biden and his balanced condemnations of Hamas and its terror masters on the one hand and the Jewish state on the other
That is a blatant false equivalence which says more about our moral political disorder than about the motives and actions of Israel.

You say Israel can defend itself and for some 80 years and it has.
This despite being a country smaller than New Jersey, with a population less than North Carolina, and an economy smaller than that of Washington state.

If Israel has Iran on the run then it is past time the  West stand up and crush the mullahs with a strategy that brings them in line with modern decency.
If not, then Iran will face certain extinction.

I have no problem with rendering Iran incapable of spreading their poison.

That speaks well of Waltz. You have supported the least qualified candidate and the biggest thieving asshole in every election since this board was founded.

The world wins when you lose. Nothing is better established at this point.

Gandhi's birthday today.
His "peace, love, tolerance, harmony, appeasement" idea/policy/mantra was seriously flawed, obviously.
One only needs to look around today to see why.
I have protesters marching thru my streets waving flags of terror...and the federal and state govts and their cops basically curling up in the foetal position and just letting them.
Well not really, but you get the idea....nothing is being done to stop it all/them.

I think Walz is a fine choice, very likable and a proven campaigner. Also should shore up the veteran vote. Biden and Obama had destroyed confidence.

Isn't Vance a vet as well?

Yes but we were discussing the Harris choice. Republicans fine with veterans.

Civility and a friendly collegial vibe at the debate... I had forgotten what that was like.

If Vance hadn't taken up lying to keep his boss happy, he might have almost made it as a human being.  Walz had a positive high-energy coach way of addressing the people who are listening, and called Sofa Boy on his lies (e.g. Trump saving Obamacare).  (Iran unfrozen assets "thanks to Harris," another whopper)

LOL. Had she gone the other way, your brazenly intellectually dishonest ass would be wondering why she did not choose Walz over Shapiro.

Walz has a way of calling people to be their best selves.  It's more than charisma, it's statesmanship.  People, especially in the heartland, can see who Walz is, that it's real and something they can trust. What's sorta sad is that Vance could have been that, too, before he took that Trumpian fork in the road and became a caricature of himself. Vance probably tells himself he's just playing a part so he can ride Trump's coattails, but he's actually given up a chunk of his soul.
