The reason why Florida is nicer than California is because everyone in California wants to be a gangster, and California has a ton of gang violence, and there is no reason for it. The illegal drugs, and gangs, are what is ruining California. And we have prisons all up and down the state of California when we should have more schools and movie studios and scientific laboratories, etc.
And while the people of California are wasting time with drugs and gang violence, the Canadians and other countries are coming to California and they are taking our jobs away. Our General Motors plant from Van Nuys was closed and moved to Canada, and the Californians did not even fight to keep the jobs here, the Californians just let the jobs go to Canada without a fight. And all of the movie jobs are going to Canada, etc.
I do not want to deal illegal drugs nor do I want to be a gangster. And I sure as hell do not want to be a criminal and waste my life in prison.
California has many positive things, we have good weather, and good soil, and we have the movie studios, and we have Disneyland, and we have good colleges, and we have aerospace and defense jobs, etc, and we can do great things.
It is a waste if people just want to join gangs and deal illegal drugs, I do not want to be a part of any of that. And I do not even like tattoos.
We need to be able to have honest lives and success.

When was the last time you were personally in any part of Florida, Tony?
That is true, maybe our whole country has been in decline, maybe Florida declined too, I do not know, it has been a long time since I have been to Florida.
I lived in Florida in the summer of 1979 when I was 12 years old, it was a great summer, we lived right on the beach in Cape Canaveral, it was great, and the women were beautiful. It was awesome. I had to leave when Hurricane David hit, that is a bad thing about Florida is the storms. It was a great summer.
Then, as an adult I tried to move back to Florida, I traveled on New Year's Eve on a Greyhound Bus, I left Nevada in 1990 and I arrived in Florida in 1991, and I tried to get a job at Walt Disney World. I was 23 years old. I did not have very much money and I needed to find a job and go to work quickly in order to survive. I applied for jobs all over Orlando, including at a Roy Rogers Restaurant, and no one would hire me, the economy was bad and it was hard to get a job. Then I went to Cocoa Beach to apply for work. The coolest part was when I went to a night club on the beach in Cocoa Beach to apply for a job, I had a cappuccino with the last of my money and I filled out a job application. While I was filling out my job application Jimmy Page from the band Led Zeppelin walked in with his guitar in a case, and he pulled out his guitar and he plugged in and he played with the band, The Groove Monsters, all night long, it was great. Then, I slept on the beach, and the next day I got on a Greyhound Bus and I went back to Nevada where I had a job waiting at a casino.
So 1991 was the last time I was in Florida, and as I went across the country on the Greyhound Bus I saw all of the closed factories, etc. The United States was in a depression then. And I met a guy who I think was Bruce Willis on my way to Florida, we had Big Macs at the McDonald's at the Greyhound Bus station by the Arch in Saint Louis in the middle of the night, and after we were done eating he told me not to leave the Greyhound station, he told me that Saint Louis was dangerous. So, Saint Louis was already in decline then. It was already dangerous in Saint Louis.
I am getting old now, I am 54, and as far as I can remember the USA has been in decline. So, maybe Florida declined too, maybe Florida is bad now. I do not know.
I am thinking about retiring and moving to Rome, or to Greece, and just selling stuff to tourists for the rest of my life. I am tired of being poor and alone while the USA just continues to decline.
Meanwhile, I need to smarten up, we receive 50,000 new tourists here in Anaheim everyday, so every new day is a chance to sell stuff to the tourists. And then, when you are really smart, you hire beautiful young women to work for you.
One bright spot here too, is the film school, eventually I need to go visit there, it is just too far, I have to take a bus. California has great schools, we are lucky in that regard. That is where our hope is for the future is in our schools.
Salute,
Tony V.
