Our representative at City Hall, Dr Jose F. Moreno, put forth the idea that we charge a two dollar gate fee at Disneyland and at Angel Stadium, and at all venues in Anaheim which have large numbers of attendees, to go into the general fund of the City of Anaheim to be spent however the people want to spend the money. The money could go to social programs such as helping the homeless, and helping the abused women, and helping the foster children, etc. Unfortunately the other City officials rejected the idea. But it is an idea to consider, and the sports franchises themselves, and the arenas, etc, can decide to have a two dollar gate fee to help the homeless, etc.
Chicago can charge a two dollar gate fee at all sporting events and concerts, etc, and they can use the money to build libraries in the bad neighborhoods, and they can help the abused women, and the foster children, etc, and they can use the money to help Chicago. And Detroit, and Saint Louis, and others, can do the same, and America can become a better place.
Salute,
Tony V.
