You are a truly ignorant bastard when it comes to history, Kid. Though if you are suggesting that we in the United States treat our out of control white population the way Dominicans treated and still treat Haitians to this day, you might be on to something there.

How do you say parsley, Kid?

A lot may be riding on how it comes off your lips.

Summering in NYC area. Sad to see how far this sanctuary area has fallen. Homeless everywhere including the wealthy NJ burbs. Crime in the subways worst than even during the Bernie Getz years. Please Mr. President do something to curb the tide of broken humanity snaking their way in. Recently saw the movie "rebel without a cause" a simpler time when the big issue was, oh no, juvenile delinquency.

Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo

1 hour

I am proud to present the $17.2M state investment for the Romero Clinic, which will assist the development of a social services & health center to address the needs of the community it serves, largely Salvadoran, Central American, Indigenous, Latino mixed status and undocumented families.

The continued distress of instability for immigrants and war refugees plays a role in generational trauma, amplified by stigma surrounding mental health treatment. Through this funding, Central American communities will have access to care in a safe space.

-----------

We are wise to invest in Mental Health Associations and in Wellness Centers, etc, including in Wendy's area which includes the area around Lafayette Park in Los Angeles.

Salute,

Tony V.

Yes, like I've been warning...the bad people are after your daughters...and if you don't *lock them up*/ protect them 24/7, this is what *will* happen to them.

British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak plans to crack down on woke policing, pushing authorities to be fighting actual crime in neighbourhoods, and not policing bad jokes on Twitter.

Meanwhile, in bambuworld, .....

"EV prices, already much higher than comparable petrol and diesel vehicles, have spiked in the past 12 months due to supply constraints, battery shortages and the rising cost of raw materials such as lithium."

#####

Well there you go.
Average Joe can't afford them...and with interest rates about to be increased again by the Reserve (central) Bank is more concerned with other things...like affording housing and food, energy, etc etc etc.

Article today says people are moving out of Sydney at express pace, moving to other cities and towns with more affordable housing, and lower costs of living.
The pandemic has reportedly changed people's housing desire...free-standing homes, not high rise apartments. Exodus from high density suburbs to suburbs with 'cottages'.

World's two largest car manufacturers, VW and Toyota, don't sell any EVs in Australia, yet.
Ford is advertising it will be importing the new F150 (not electric) to bambuland.
"BIG, STRONG, great for towing" the ads basically say.

Gonna be a long time before downunder goes electric cars, methinks.
Hybrid first, then fully electric, is the way to go, but like with most other things the politicians and activists are out of touch.
They should look at the new Prius in America as an example of "sensible transition".
New Prius...better looking, bigger battery, longer 'electric' range, takes 5 hrs to charge at home.
Fuel cap one side, plug in charger cable for domestic use the other. Easy to use.

Rishi is also gonna "tow back the boats"...have fast smaller navy boats to stop "asylum-seekers/economic immigrants" call them what you like (who were safe in France) from crossing the Channel and waltzing into Britain.
Also going to tighten the qualifications regarding asylum.
Rishi has been paying attention.
Yes, border security is paramount today...it's lunacy just letting anyone and everyone enter one's country uninvited.

Mahlagha Jaberi is in Italy.

4 minutes

Repost from Vogue Italia. In unprecetance Vogue Italia, the women of Iran are leading the fight for change against the Islamic Republic of Iran. It is at times like this that they need our utmost support to continue their social and political movement. Though we all cannot be there with them, in the front line of the protests, we can spread the word and use our voices.

Thank you Vogue Italia for highlighting the cause and speakinVogue Italiastruggles of the brave Iranian people fighting for their basic human rights.

----------------

Mahlagha Jaberi is a beautiful and brave Persian woman from Iran who is using her beauty and fame to help to advance human rights for the women of Iran, and she did an interview with Vogue in Italy to help the women of Iran. I support Mahlagha, she is one of my favorite Persian women. Mahlagha is great.

Maybe Mahlagha can talk with the Pope while she is in Italy about improving human rights for the women of Iran.

And I would put Mahlagha on Good Morning America when she comes back to the USA on the issue of improving human rights for the women of Iran. Mahlagha can be a leader for improving the human rights for the women of Iran.

Salute,

O, and Rishi says, that basically any country that won't take back failed asylum seekers won't be receiving any more grants from Britain's generous foreign aid budget.
Britain tried sending some back to Rwanda or elsewhere in Africa but that was blocked by the UN or some body.
Looks like he'll have to do what Australia did...draw a line in the sand, and declare to the world that anyone who tries to enter Britain by people smuggling boat will never be settled in Britain but held in an offshore detention centre somewhere else...maybe Nauru might be interested.
Or maybe guide the boats to the NYC ferry wharf....past the Statue of Liberty.
It'd be interesting to see what would happen.

Brazil denazifies itself as record number of anti-fascists continue to cast their votes across the United States.

Dumb, ugly and white is no longer the winning combination it was for Reagan and Bush.

But its  often NOT between a woman and her doctor.  Nor is the father always consulted.

Its a woman's body and her choice.  So when discussing, stay consistent.  Leave doctor and daad out of it

Woman's choice - and often a cruel and selfish one.
