There is no way to take advantage of the flawed logic of the Texas law, the ACLU California Action wrote in a letter to the legislative authors of the (CA gun) bill, adding,

Replicating the reprehensible Texas model only serves to legitimize and promote it, as evidenced by the copycat measures already enacted in some states, with many more pending around the country.

The bad people are "armed and dangerous" ......the camp ground killer was, cops said when looking for him and his girlfriend.
Notice how the bad men always have a girlfriend but the good men don't.

No, the good guy had a wife.

Dolt.

Not always.
Only 4% of women find the men on Tinder acceptable, but 70% of men find the women on Tinder
acceptable.....
survey says.

Tells us mor about Tinder than anything else.

Never open the door.
. Never go outside.
. Never get out of the car.
. Never get involved.
...are good rules to live by

That's not a life. That's a cowardly and fearful
 existence.

Might as well save yourself from the extremely low chance of being killed by a serial killer and just take yourself out, if you call that "good rules to live by".

mmm, missed in the translation was...
. Never open the door ...to strangers, they'll only be trying to sell you something, scam you, preach their religion and tell you guns are evil, ...or worse.
. Never go outside...if people are in the street making a noise or arguing...that's how the Aussie woman got herself shot dead by the US cop accidentally.
. Never get out of the car.... in a road rage incident, it's only inviting danger upon your person.
. Never get involved in other
people's lives, problems etc...except in life or death situations where you might be able to help without any serious repercussions for you.
Woman next door and her children being bashed up, for example.
Call the cops.
Gotta love the cops, the good ones.
Even the bad ones on duty would likely save a woman and children from harm.

I was called such long ago by women co-workers because I didn't chase a bank robber (note to a teller, no gun sighted) into the bowels of a building with other male staff.
That was about the time I really embraced the very wise words of my first boss (bank manager)...and my attitude to those female co-workers/all co-workers changed forever.
"Look after yourself first in this world, son...because nobody else will."
What was in it for me, the bank robber could've had a gun or a knife.
At that time in my life I was still a polite, well mannered doormat co-worker so I didn't say anything to the young women.

There you were with a bunch of living contrary examples - people looking out for others.

And the lesson you learned was that nobody would look out for you, only for themselves.

You were wearing blinders.

Young British couple...Alex and Emma, very nice people...vanlifers...went to America to tour around...bought an older model classic campervan in America.
They post on Youtube as 'Travel Beans'.

They had it checked by a mechanic.
They were about to move all their things into it ready to start their American adventure...were doing last minute shopping etc...when Alex noticed smoke coming from underneath his side of the van, so he got out to investigate.
Seeing flames underneath the van and Emma still inside he called to her to get out...which she did before the van erupted into a massive fireball on the highway.
The black smoke seen for miles.
Before it erupted into a fireball a man stopped and tried to put out the flames under the fan with a fire extinguisher, to no avail.

Youtube "Travel Beans" and scroll down to "Our Campervan Was Destroyed" [about 11 videos down...you can't miss it, it's the one with the flaming campervan pictured].

Would I have stopped and tried to put out the fire, like the man did?
Would you have?

As an actor I would love to work on Hallmark movies, I like those kind of movies. Also as a director.

I also like Soap Operas such as The Young and the Restless. Those are good jobs for actors.

Also, I would like to act and make movies at Cinecitta, in Rome, they are true craftsmen there.

And Bambu, the Union jobs are good jobs in the USA, even for the United Farm Workers, but the non-union jobs are a waste. Workers are living in their cars.

Also, In N Out Burger jobs are good jobs, and they pay their managers $120,000 per year.

In Nevada the casinos have good jobs, you can always find a job at a casino.

Salute,

I would. You would not.

Simple question. Simple answer.

Simpleton.

I would have also called for more help than I could provide.

And when my efforts failed, I would have given them a ride to more help.

The Pope is in Canada, apologizing to the Indigenous People for the sins of the past, including for the boarding schools. The Pope is from Argentina, and the Indigenous People love him in Canada. The Pope has been in Canada for 2 days, at a stadium. I hope this can start a new chapter for the Indigenous People of Canada and for the Church.

Also, Ashley Callingbull is in the current Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Ashley said that she felt like the Indigenous People did not have a voice in Canada, but now people listen to her because she is a famous model, and she loves that people listen to her now. People care what she has to say because she is famous now, and she loves having a voice. She is doing a lot to help the Indigenous People in Canada.

That is what we need to do in Hollywood, we need to have the Pope come bless the Homeless People in Hollywood while he is here in the Western Hemisphere, and we need for the local stars to help the Homeless People here, etc, and we need for the Homeless People to have a voice. If I was famous I would be helping the homeless people in Hollywood, and I would be bringing jobs to Hollywood, etc. And I would help to bring a new movie studio to Anaheim, etc. We can also have a new studio in the desert, for the people who like to film in the desert, etc. ( Of note, the new movie "Nope" was filmed here in California and they created good jobs for local people here, they filmed it in Aqua Dulce and in Santa Clarita, at the Firestone Ranch, etc. )

There used to be a General Motors plant in Van Nuys, they made Chevy Camaros and other cars there. It was a good factory, and GM created a lot of good jobs in Van Nuys, they were good jobs that you could buy a home and raise a family with. The factory was shut down, and they moved the factory to Canada. It is sad that Van Nuys lost the jobs.

But, now with the new electric cars, GM can build a factory in Van Nuys and GM can make electric cars in Van Nuys. Van Nuys can get those jobs back, as people make the new electric cars of the future.

The people of Van Nuys need to petition General Motors to build a new electric car factory in Van Nuys. Van Nuys can get the jobs back if the people make their voices heard to the bosses at GM.
