Attorney who just won his lawsuit vs Alex Jones:

"There is going to be a large set of plaintiffs dividing up the corpse of Infowars ... That could get very, very dangerous for Mr. Jones, because there is going to be a new level of financial scrutiny."

There are two more cases to come against him. The one in Texas is in front of the same judge. The other is in Connecticut.

I assume in CT the amount he could have to pay is more than 750K per plaintiff, which is the max in TX. (The 45.1 mil then chopped to 1.5 mil ending some  kind of "appeal" to the  structure)

He'll have the $4.1 million to pay in addition to whatever happens with the $45.2 million in punitive damages. So, it could be as little as $5.6 million, but given what the judge and the plaintiffs' attorney said, it could well not be restricted by the cap, when all is said and done.

Connecticut doesn't have a firm cap the way Texas and many other states do. Instead, they have a descriptive cap, limiting punitive damages to attorney's fees and other expenses.

There are exceptions to that limit, some of which double or triple the amount of damages while others are vaguer in their impact. Their supreme court has not been receptive to most arguments that the limits should not apply.

Defamation may fall outside that restriction:

We need to be open and honest as we work to create a cleaner planet.

We have made a lot of progress over the years on polluting less, and I remember as a child in Los Angeles the smog would burn my eyes and make my lungs hurt, but now the air is clean in Los Angeles and the air does not burn my eyes anymore and the air no longer makes my lungs hurt. We have made obvious progress on having cleaner air in Los Angeles.

People are saying that there are many problems with electric cars because of the mining of the lithium, and the electricity needed to charge cars, etc, but the problems can all be solved if we are open and honest, our scientists can solve the problems.

I also support trains, I love trains. We can get people out of their cars and onto trains. And Amtrak needs to build a high speed train between Disneyland and Las Vegas for our tourists, and the locals will love the trains as well. We need to build high speed trains in the USA with Amtrak.

Salute,

"We got a crisis of Black manhood. I don't care what name you want to put on it---you can call it Black-on-Black violence, you can call it gentrification, you can call it whatever the hell you want to call it, but at the end of the day we have a crisis of Black manhood."

On the issue of Mexico...

Elvis made a movie in Acapulco, the stars used to love Mexico. The stars need to go to Mexico and help to fix things in Mexico.

Also, Kiwanis can help to improve things in Mexico, and Kiwanis has over six million members world-wide.

The good people need to save Mexico. Mexico was great in the 1950s and in the 1960s, people need to save Mexico and they need to make Mexico great again.

Salute,

Swiss Guard maybe?

There was/is  Swiss Army Card.
Credit card size.
I had one.
It had a tiny knife/letter opener that slid out.
A pin that pulled out of the side.
A pair of scissors.
It was great, I used to carry it in my pocket.
'bambu-MacGyver".
Next minute a cop appeared on my tv screen declaring the tiny knife/letter opener a "concealed weapon" under the bambustate's new knife laws.

Keep up the fine work, Israel: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-62445951

If they had asked bambu-wisdom if  they should be firing missiles into Israel he would've answered:
"No".

Some people in the Middle East seem to be slow-learners.

Welp!

https://www.nytimes.com/live/2022/08/08/us/trump-fbi-raid

This sure sounds like threatening the AG of the United States:
Quote
The top House Republican, Kevin McCarthy of California, warned Attorney General Merrick B. Garland of payback for the search of Trump's property. McCarthy, who has refused a subpoena from the House Jan. 6 committee, said the Justice Department had "reached an intolerable state of weaponized politicization" and pledged to investigate if Republicans retook the House in the 2022 midterm elections.

"Attorney General Garland, preserve your documents and clear your calendar," he wrote in a statement.
