. Homeless...Denver should be building a tent city for its people who have nowhere to live...instead of tossing them in jail.
What's the good of giving a person who is sick and living under a bridge on an old mattress, and has nothing, a ticket fine for $100?
Answer, no good.
Denver doesn't seem to have progressed much since the wild west.
My Great Grandfather was the Chief of Police of Denver, Colorado, in the 1920's, and my family came to California during the Great Depression. So, the Wild West was my family.
The television show Mork and Mindy took place in Denver.
And supposedly if the Government in Washington, DC, is destroyed, then a Government in Denver will take over.
I went through Colorado on a Greyhound Bus in about 1990, in the winter, it was night and there was a blizzard, and a girl sitting next to me shared her blanket, and someone had a portable stereo and they were playing Garth Brooks, it was a great experience.
And like I said, we need to bring the people from the Philippines to America and give them business loans to open hostels where people can shower and sleep in a bed for $15, and they can sleep in a nice bed instead of sleeping under a bridge.
Salute,
