The things listed in the Aust/California climate change-green dreaming deal are harmless enough, and could have many benefits.
Hope they don't have any bright ideas about mandating only electric vehicles can be sold in Australia after 2030, 2035, or in their lifetimes.

Good thing brighter folks than you are running the show.

You know, Tony, I think it was Barack Obama who noted that when people begin a sentence with "I am not racist against the Black people, but..." it never ends well. And yours did not.

But, instead we had a fucking asshole mayor of Lancaster for a while, Henry Hearns, and he was a preacher at a Black church in Los Angeles, and he brought all of the poor Black people to the Antelope Valley from Compton, and from Watts, and from South Central Los Angeles, etc. So, now the Antelope Valley has gangs, and drugs, and crime, and they call it a ghetto now...

There he is.  I have long sensed the real Tony in there, hiding behind the idealism and philanthropy and declarations of Christian love and ministering to the poor and uplifting the unhoused yata yata yata.

I am not racist against the Black people, but they need to realize that education is the way to improve their lives and not drugs and gangs and crime.

There he is again!

Wow.  Hiding in the shadows no more.

Australia is roughly the size of the contiguous United States (aka the lower 48), but has only 1/12 the population.  A small fraction of the outback would easily provide the affordable solar and wind (with peak use storage systems) everyone needs.  And the jumbucks and swagmen would enjoy the shade provided by solar panels.  The kookaburra is laughing at all you stodgy dinosaurs.

'All' the solar panels and their controllers are made in China.
They are connected to the internet...and as such China could hack in and turn off all the power ...it was reported the other day.
At that news there was much alarm.

The unemployed/homeless 'swagmen'' these days camp in backpacker hostels, their costs paid for with the welfare money credited to their bank accounts each fortnight...bambu-ilk over the decades demanded it....''money to live on [buy food and possibly some shelter] for the unemployed/homeless."
The swagmen usually stay close to towns where the food is.

The billabong campers these days usually travel in Japanese 4WD vehicles and big American trucks ...towing big caravans...or in RVs.
Plenty of solar on the caravan roofs.
They can stay off grid for a very long time power wise...but food and water storage demands that about 2 weeks is their limit.
They love the billabongs and oceans to camp near.

Wind?
Wind turbines fail...

All very nice...but,

Capture it in the outback, store it in the outback...lovely.
But the People don't live in the outback, they live on the coast.
Easy you say, transmit the stored energy to the coast.
How?
By transmission lines.
But there aren't any.
Build some you say...simple.

What is in between the outback and the coast?
Farms, fertile farmland, where Australia feeds itself and parts of the world.
Family farms. Cattle, sheep, and all sorts of crops...for export and to feed the cattle and sheep.
The transmission lines have a large foot print on a farm.
As 'usual' the left doesn't understand, or doesn't want to understand, anything about farms.

"The National Farmers' Federation has vowed to oppose any widespread compulsory acquisition of farmland needed for power line corridors "to the bitter end".

Wind turbines fail, and...who wants a wind turbine in their 'yard' ?

. Wind turbine blades kill thousands of migratory birds.
. Most wind turbines need a sustained wind speed of 9mph or higher to operate. A still morning with 'an afternoon sea breeze' doesn't cut it.
. Wind turbines are noisy, have health hazards for humans.
. Wind turbines compromise wildlife habits.

Wind turbines are bad news.

"Residents oppose offshore wind project".
"Paddle-out protest over wind farm".
"Community meeting on proposed wind farm".
"Hundreds of residents lined the shore today in protest of the Offshore wind project".
"Wind farm will no longer be situated there".

Justin Trudeau blasted after trans woman breaks Canadian powerlifting record
24 hours ago

#####

Should be interesting.
Riley Gaines, a former college swimmer, has blasted Justin Trudeau for his "radical disdain" for women after trans athlete Anne Andres broke a new Canadian and
unofficial world record at a women's powerlifting championship.

The real world has moved past your shitty gripes, Bambi, and is on to implementing solutions,

http://newatlas.com/energy/aeromine-rooftop-wind/

This is one of many approaches that exceed the limitations in your perspective.

It is no wonder no one gives you shit to do. If they did, nothing would ever get done.

"More ot less silently".
In other words they make a noise.
And, have moving parts.
And make a louder noise as the parts wear, I bet.
No use on homes with sloping rooves.
Maybe could be used on commercial buidings.

On my Ozland tv screen now:
"Entry to the Green Dream to cost another $150bn."
That's B for Billion.
$150 billion...don't know where  Albo thinks he's gonna get that money from.

The next headline:

"(Legal)Immigration causing housing shortage".

Same as in America.
Plus illegal immigration.

Young people so in love with the Left and 'hateful' of ScoMo-ilk that they vote  themselves into *homelessness*.
You'd have to laugh if it weren't so serious.

The young voting Left, fans of Albo and co, are the ones who'll be affected, not older people who have a home.
(Legal)Migrants mainly vote Left, it is said.
Legal immigrants must have considerable money, to show they can support themselves.
Some have to have sponsors.

But residents love it when a huge coal burning plant gets built in their neighborhood, right? You are a horrible consumer of news.

Note there is a potential typo lurking near "news" that makes that last sentence horrific.
