We need to play Jan and Dean and the Beach Boys on all of the radio stations in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, and for all of the Arabs and Turks, etc, and we need to promote the peaceful surfer culture there. And they can eat fish tacos like at Wahoo's Fish Tacos, etc. And we need to broadcast "Beach Blanket Bingo" movies on their television stations, and we need to make tons of brand new Beach Blanket Bingo movies.

Salute,

People make their own decisions, purchases.
Too many variables with electric cars for me.
But that's me. "Mr Negative"...lol
If an electric car is charging in a garage, then next 'minute' firemen are being blown around inside garage, then garage door is blown off, wisdom demands I find out exactly why....what's going on.

So our elitist college kids support the pro Palestinian shout  FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA

But it appears very few of them know either the River or the Sea.

In all, after learning a handful of basic facts about the Middle East, 67.8% of students went from supporting from the river to sea to rejecting the mantra. These students had never seen a map of the Mideast and knew little about the region geography, history or demography. Those who hope to encourage extremism depend on the political ignorance of their audiences. It is time for good teachers to join the fray and combat bias with education.

We need to broadcast "Gidget" for all of Iran, Iran, Afghanistan, etc, Turkey, for the Arabs, for everyone.

And we need to play Jan and Dean and the Beach Boys on all of their radio stations.
And they need "Beach Blanket Bingo" movies.

It's Krampusnacht.

Hope you all have been good.

Otherwise the Krampus brings things even worse than a lump of coal.

I guess such anecdotal "evidence" can be spun any way you'd like.

Red State Drivers Turn Up Their Noses at EVs Despite Incentives

The dealers said customers cited the high cost of EVs,  no garages equipped for home charging, the time it takes to charge and loss of driving range in cold or hot weather.
Truck owners also pointed to a dramatic loss of range when towing.

"As many as half of all Americans don't even have a garage, " Anderson said, making EVs an unrealistic option for most of them.

Red State folk turned up their noses at healthcare, too.

Even on deathsdoorstep, Trevor was not angry. In fact, he staunchly supported the stance promoted by his elected officials. Aint no way I would ever support Obamacare or sign up for it,he told me. I would rather die. When I asked him why he felt this way even as he faced severe illness, he explained, We do not need any more government in our lives. And in any case, no way I want my tax dollars paying for Mexicans or welfare queens.

That's one Red State misguided man...well not by his standards/beliefs.
All Americans should be demanding:
. Universal healthcare
. 4 weeks paid annual leave
. paid maternity and paternity leave
. unemployment benefits for every unemployed person (means tested, generously). About $600 per FN.

And "rioting" until they get it.

Social Conservative is cool...and affordable.

One misguided guy, huh?

If you can change how people think and feel then you can change how they behave.

And you can create circumstances and you can create an environment, like Uta Hagen's 6 Steps, you can create an environment. In Battle Mountain, Nevada, we had a head chef from Beverly Hills, and we had a Beverly Hills environment with the Casino vibe. We had Beverly Hills quality food in Battle Mountain.

We can create Greece out in the middle of Nevada, etc.

And Bambu is right, the Arabs can surf, we need to flood their radio stations with Jan and Dean, and with the Beach Boys, etc. And we need to have surfer shows on their television such as "Gidget" and "Beach Blanket Bingo" etc.

We can create environments and we can create circumstances.

Some electric cars have the battery under the rear passenger area floor.
Bad idea says the StaceD firefighter guy expert.

Besides being an ideas man...bambu is also a "what if" man.

What if...one buys an EV, with the warranty on the battery usually being 100,000 miles, ...and the battery fails at 150.000 miles?
The cost to replace the battery is from $4,000 tp $20,000 depending on car make and model.

By all accounts EV sales are increasing. Nobody is forcing you to buy one. So do not.

Biden's billion dollar plan to build 500,000 EV chargers has yet to yield a single charger

Too many members of Congress think Field of Dreams is a blueprint for infrastructure build it and they will come. No, they will not come. Because Americans did not want EVs when this wasteful spending was passed and they do not want them now, even with all the massive subsidies and incentives to buy EVs.

So EV sales are not increasing?
Yes. They are.
But not at a pace that is encouraging to the makers of the cars

GM and Honda canceled a partnership to build affordable EVs, and both Ford and GM have scaled back their ambitions for converting to electric car production quickly.
EV makers, including Tesla, have had to reduce prices, as cars have remained unsold.
