Celine Dione was stunning, though. Much more worthy of attention.
What does an Edith Piaf song have to do with the Summer Olympics?

Nice to know, being mostly out for a week, that RedDick still dances like a trained monkey to the tune of the right wing outrage machine. Personally I was more bothered and mystified by the book vandalizing threesome than the use of the Leonardo painting to celebrate diversity and food culture. And for the record, it was the book vandalism, and not the threesome, that troubled me.

Hmmm. Paris, a love song, a great artist comeback paying homage to a French icon of the lpatriotism of the country.

So, as much to do with the Olympics as a LGBTQ last supper. Cool.

I am not certain you know what that word means. I believe there is room in creative arts for Edith Piaf, drag shows and histrionic vocal performances*. Still wondering about the people atop swaying polls.

* Glad to see her performing again after what she has gone through the last few years even if I can never really get on board with her over dramatic vocal choices.

No one argued otherwise. Judging from the reaction of millions Dion met the appeal of appropriate Art at the Olympics.

The closer to November, the more they sway.

France is beautiful, I spent 3 days in Cannes for the film festival in 2000, "Dancer in the Dark" won the top prize that year. The French Riviera is awesome, the food is great, the people are great, the beach there is beautiful, the hotels are great, it is an all around good experience, I would love to attend the Cannes Film Festival every year.

I would love to go spend more time in Paris too, etc, maybe for a honeymoon someday or something, we will see what happens.

Of note, a film is being made about Queen Farah Pahlavi of Iran, who has been in France, Farah approved of the Hollywood movie, and it will be a huge event. And Mahlagha Jaberi can help as a Voice for the women of Iran. Muzi of China, and Natalie Portman of Israel, can help and they both studied at Harvard.

Lots of great things are going to happen.

And Kamala loves Mayor Bass, so Los Angeles will receive lots of love and help from DC. Would like to see Beshear as Vice President, and Kentucky has a $1 Billion surplus to go to helping the poor people of Kentucky, for libraries, and for schools, etc.

And Mexico has a great new President, and the drug cartels are over now, it is all done, now it is all about Avocados for Kentucky and for Nevada, and for everyone, and other good food, the money and resources can go towards growing avocados, etc, instead of fighting the cartels. Father Boyle and Homeboy Industries from Los Angeles can help in Mexico, etc.

We also need to make our immigrants legal so that they can join Labor Unions and so that they can call the police in the case of an emergency, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

Bambu, Spielberg is partying with Margot Robbie right now at the Paris Olympics, with Tom Cruise. It looks like a fun party. I would be partying with Brad Pitt, he owns a winery in France and we can drink Brad's own brand of wine, and we could smoke pot with Oliver Stone and Quentin Tarantino, and I would like to have Shakira for a dinner date, that would be cool. I would love to be in Paris right now, they are all having a great time.

But, grateful to have food and shelter and freedom.

The next Olympics will be in Los Angeles, so they are bringing the Olympics right to us here in Southern California.

Peace.

Salute,

Tony V.

The Basques have been raising sheep in Nevada, and in California, etc, forever...

https://elkodaily.com/lifestyles/sheeped-in-nevada/article_5998e4bd-f0be-5374-84de-0c8606daecee.html

In Elko, Nevada, and in Lancaster, California, and the surrounding areas had many Basque sheepherders.

The sheep and goats can now be used to help to prevent fires, the animals can eat the vegetation to reduce fires, we just need to remember about the issue of TICKS and also RESEEDING the WILDFLOWERS, etc. And people can make Goat Cheese, and they can get Wool from the sheep, and they can eat the goats and the sheep, etc.

The Basques can run sheep and goat herds to prevent fires, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

The best response yet to the Olympic Drag Show kerfuffle

Christians are right to be irritated. The drag queens and their ideological allies got what they wanted, and all it cost was a further cheapening of art and heritage. Never expect beauty from a group that applies foundation and eye shadow as if they are  available in five gallon buckets at Menards.

It is not our job to defend the honor of God nearly as much as it is our duty to exhibit his grace in adversity.
