Red has called the SPLC "racist" at least one more time than he's called Donald Trump the same.
Which means what?

It means that we know you are full of shit, as well as your being an amoral racist hypocrite.
Really? Please explain.

You ignore your own party's racist conduct, including that of your president.

In other words, nothing new.
In better words you can’t defend your argument.

It wasn't an argument, Ward. It was an assertion. You asked me to explain what I said, so I explained it.

Fortunately, before I read this inane response from you, I gave you a set of concrete examples.

Medicaid expansion led to fewer cardiovascular deaths in the states that did it.

It’s amazing how Red likes to take a charge leveled at Individuals and tries to smear it across an organization’s work, an organization that makes it uncomfortable for him and his sheetmates to fly their traitor flags and burn their crosses.

The SPLC knows you. The SPLC owns you.

Smear away Red.

As usual, you only wind up with shit on your face.

Quote from: REDSTATEWARD

It should be noted that the " hate group" designation came from the Southern Poverty Law Center who now stands exposed as sexist demagogues after firing its founder and and Director amid  sexual harassment attribute to its senior staff.

If your organization fires all its sexual harassers,
Because it didn’t. If it did this sexist and racist organization would not exist.

First, quote my entire reply and not chop it off mid sentence.  Since my point of logic was removed by you, I assume you can't refute it.  It seems you have no evidence that an organization which fired its founder on the basis of possible sexual harassment and racist remarks  is, in its overall operations and legal actions, racist or sexist.  Since SPLC has, in decades of work, legally challenged and confronted racism and sexism, that would suggest it is not as you're painting it... and in a discussion this puts the burden of evidence on you.

Most people, who aren't partisan hacks, would have made the obvious inference:  wow, this organization is so committed to fighting racism that they removed their own founder on the basis of undocumented hearsay that he may have said something racist.
AFAICT, the sexist charge stemmed from a conversation about tattoos he had with a woman who asked him if he had one.

Not even close.

Internal emails obtained by the Alabama Political Reporter show that “the problems—which employees said spanned from sexual harassment to gender- and race-based discrimination—were more systemic and widespread, creating an atmosphere over several years in which female and minority employees felt mistreated. The employees also said that they felt their complaints were either not heard or resulted in retaliation from senior staff.”

The Los Angeles Times found something similar. “One letter—signed by about two dozen employees and sent to the board of directors before news broke of Dees’ firing—said that internal ‘allegations of mistreatment, sexual harassment, gender discrimination, and racism threaten the moral authority of this organization and our integrity along with it.'”

In other words you knew you were getting suckered and lied to, so live with it.

SUCKERS!

“Keep in mind, that’s a issue that was already litigated during the election—voters knew the president could have given his tax returns, they knew that he didn’t, and they elected him anyway,” Mulvaney said.

As a nonpartisan, I respect all evidence based opinions and arguments.  Red supplied evidence, with citations, that responded to my challenge.   Maybe SPLC has grown corrupt - I can at least see where that contention is coming from now, and research further.   Thank you.

Red is trying to conflate the idea that the SPLC was badly mismanaged to the point where it generally became a hostile work environment with the idea that internal mismanagement  invalidates its findings about all the groups he loves and supports.

You don’t see Red posting similar information about management in the Wynn casino group, to give just one example.

I hope the SPLC can fix its culture in short order and continue its good work for a long long time.

It’s good to have a way of knowing where Red sends the money he should have been paying in taxes.
