If George were still running things I imagine Boone would be fired. Maybe he’ll hang on. I inagine most realize that the blame rests with Cashman.

Boone cant survive the AS break, can he?
Ys looked dead today.

I posted elsewhere at 6-0, that the Ys had Boonie's back today.

The old man probably would have fired him by now, and no one would complain.

Cleveland Ballet in Right Field yields gruesome injury: https://news.yahoo.com/clevelands-josh-naylor-hospitalized-after-gruesome-ankle-injury-220721522.html
It is bad enough we now have no.starting pitchers, we are now in danger of completely running out of Naylors! I would note that our lack of starters is self inflicted - we have traded a shit ton of really good starting pitching the last few years - but of the four we traded, Cleavinger and Carrasco have not pitched all year, Kluber is toast, so only Trevor Bauer would really be able to help us now. Well, we also traded Plutko, but he does not count as "really good starting pitching".

That we are still in contention proves two things: the A L Central sucks donkeys, and Francona is a fucking wizard.

Boy,.autocorrect is a dick to former Cleveland starters.

I too once met a girl in Central Park, but it is not much to remember. What I remember is the time John Wayne killed three men with a carbine as he was falling to the dusty street in Stagecoach, and the time the kitten found Orson Welles in the doorway in The Third Man.

All that.

But do we have to win so many games CFB?! About half our wins have come that way.

Helluva an ending to the Astros/O's game tonight. Tie game going into the 9th. 7 runs scored and the winning run up in the bottom of the 9th.

I'd keep Joey on the bench as he seems to enjoy it and is doing a fine job there.

Not sure what he'd do in the hall.

Ohtani had a very short game today, out before the 2nd was over.

That the game went into rain delay in the bottom of the 3rd doesn't change that he gave up 7 runs.

And, of course, left them without a hitter to lead off except with pinch hitters.
