Also, I see "lawfare" is the new right wing media bubble phrase for "holding Trump accountable for his alleged crimes,  just like everyone else".

meanwhile GOP remains the party of cruelty.  (warning: content of this story may be quite upsetting)

I hope this incident causes a few decent Wyomingans to reconsider who they vote for, in state legislature races.

I'm not an advocate for cruel and unusual punishment, but if this guy were to get a taste of what he did to that poor wolf I would not shed a tear.
Sorry do not see this as a reason to rage against all white Republicans everywhere. Seems to be a Wyoming issue.

a reason to rage against all white Republicans everywhere.

The term has been used for over 50 years to combine law and warfare to mean a tactic with an objective but not necessarily a verdict.
In this case the democrats seek first to keep Trump from running for office or to humiliate him before the voters.

I am shocked, shocked I tell you,  a former lawyer would be so naive as to its meaning.

In this case the democrats seek first to keep Trump from running for office or to humiliate him before the voters.

How about for holding him accountable for crimes he committed before, during and after his presidency?

Luee has fully committed to the Dixiecrat flip. Now that he supports fascists who feel job one is destroying the American worker and family he has gotten very insecure about it. Right wingers tend to tell on themselves with their complaints.

Just when we thought the democrat obsession to punish Donald  Trump through lawfare was excessive we find they can even more stupid.

House Democrats have introduced a bill that would strip Secret Service protection from convicted felons sentenced to prison, a move directly targeting former President Trump who is currently on criminal trial in New York City for alleged hush money payments made during the 2016 election campaign and faces several other cases which could land him behind bars.

I do not think they realize the martyrdom they are tempting.
How do you envision Secret Service protection working in prison? What poor sucker set of agents draws THAT short straw?
I do not think you understand the proposed bill.
I do not think you understand... no, scratch that. I see you are as is your norm ignoring a question you do not whish to answer.

FIFY. Quite literally this time. I did not want anyone thinking that your noisome twaddle was me.

So... yes, it IS the new right wing media bubble phrase for "holding Trump accountable for his alleged crimes,  just like everyone else".

Hardly. Former Presidents Protection Act of 2012:
All living former presidents are entitled to receive lifetime Secret Service protection.

The House stood up for America this week.
Speaker Mike Johnson faced down his own party to get aid for Ukraine and watched as even bigger bi partisan battles were won to aid Israel,  and Taiwan.

Johnson certainly outshone Biden as a leader.

It is a shame he was six months too late to get any credit for it.

What you seem to be saying is that the republican party is basically a fascist shit sandwich and that only by dividing and defying their stupid cult of dumbfuckery can any of the basic business of the United States get done.

Johnson will make a fine minority leader once we clean the stables in November.

Yes, that statute exists. That does not answer the.logistical question: How do you envision Secret Service protection working in prison? What poor sucker set of agents draws THAT short straw?

Uh... by doing the bare minimum we should expect from a legislative leader and allowing a vote on a bill with broad bipartisan support? He could not even get the majority of his party on board for Ukraine. Yeah, kudos for standing up to the Putin wing of his own party, but that says more about the brutal dysfunction of the Republican  party and zero about his leadership.
