The Constitution, again, stands as written.
Except the dichotomy between state and federal office candidates on who enforces Section 3 is nowhere in the "Constitution,  as written".

Not that I have an issue with the ruling. There was 0 chance the SCOTUS was going to toss Trump, regardless of the plain language of Section 3 and the basis for the ruling is at least a more rational basis for a ruling than than the one you originally regurgitated from a right wing web site you read without questioning or understanding, that the President and VP were not an "office... under the United States".

If justice prevails, fraud and rapist trump will be a Rikers Island republican before the fall.

Only if you do not read Section 5 of the 14th Amendment which designates CONGRESS the authority to adopt appropriate legislation to enforce the other parts of the Amendment.

The Constitution makes Congress, rather than the States, responsible for enforcing Section 3 against federal officeholders and candidates, referring to the disqualification provision, which is part of the 14th Amendment.

Meanwhile, in Selma Alabama VP Harris calls for immediate ceasefire in Gaza

https://www.cnn.com/videos/politics/2024/03/03/kamala-harris-gaza-ceasefire-israel-hamas-sot-vpx.cnn

She obviously means well, but doesn't quite understand.
Wonder how she thinks a ceasefire is going to get Hamas eliminated.
Ask Israel. They have agreed to the parameters of the ceasefire proposal she was talking about.
No it has not.
Yes it has.
No, it has not.

Oh, there is the truce today that Biden promised Seth Myer last week?
No?
Hamas changed the parameters to insist that Israel end the war and leave Gaza as a condition to any hostage release. That demand effectively would mean Israel would lose the war and Hamas could return to rule.
Do you ever read the news?

Netanyahu has said repeatedly that a temporary ceasefire would not stave off a threatened Israeli ground offensive on Rafah, the southernmost town in Gaza, which has become the last refuge for more than half of the population.

Widespread destruction and continuing fighting across the territory, two-thirds of which is already under Israeli evacuation orders, means it is unclear how or where civilians are expected to flee. Global condemnation of the humanitarian cost of such an offensive has not deterred Israeli decision makers, who say a Rafah operation is an essential element of its goal to destroy Hamas.

The Justices are unanimous in declaring they would like to see four liberal justices added to their ranks in the upcoming presidential term. They have sandbagged the republican party, removing that last mechanism the craven scumbags had for jettisoning fraud and rapist trump. Now the GOP will join him out of power traveling through the plumbing toward the waste capture facility, a fitting final destination for a party that rotted into undiluted poison steadily over decades.

I like the Colorado Secretary State admitting that to stop Donald Trump we need to do it at the Ballot Box.

Maybe that should have been tried earlier?
