I agree. From what I understand, it will be a day to day battle for him to overcome his illness. I think we both hope he can do it.

Former The Michigan Wolverine madman Chase Winovich was making plays all over the field and had an impressive game last night, as did Jarrett Stidham leading 2 long drives in the 2nd half.
As a general rule, the taint of Meatchicken lessens after he leaves college, but fuck Winovich. I hope he gets all that pretty hair caught in a sideline hydrating fan.

There is a fair chance Stidham was a steal.

Stidham has looked poised, as in the moment is not too big for him (yet), but he's playing against 2-3s and potential WalMart stockboys. But he has looked good so far.

Well, looks like 2 years straight that the pessimistic among Giants rooters have been wrong about their draft

Too funny.

You're declaring the draft a success after two practice games?

Why not? We are winning the Super Bowl after two practice games.

One would think declaring your QB ready should wait for, I dunno, maybe him playing against a first team defense playing its full defensive scheme. But what is the fun of that?

https://www.cnn.com/2019/08/22/us/new-england-patriots-patrick-chung-cocaine-charge/index.html

My understanding is that an alarm went off at Chung's home outside Laconia, NH, and the police went to investigate. While they found no break in, they did find some cocaine visible inside the home, but no people.

Chung owns the home, so the grand jury indicted him.

If the story as I heard it is true, then even if he is guilty he is likely not going to trial due to lack of connecting evidence.

I agree with my fellow cartel member, the possession charge seems tough to prove.

Seems strange that someone would leave cocaine in lines, a pile, or a baggie, out in open sight for an extended period of time.

I suspect someone may have snooped illegally.

Pats D, looks pretty good so far.

As posted earlier, it looks like BB has built a team that can win scoring 20+ points,

Stidham looked pretty ok against 1s and 2s. Made some a couple of rookie mistakes, but not too many and was generally in control. speculation grows he may be the #2, and Hoyer could get cut.

I think at 37 she might have a hard time making a team, but if there are teams looking to bolster attendence, I could see them signing her. I would love it if somebody gave her a shot.

I'm not sure the "37" is the issue on Ms. Lloyd getting a real shot at making an NFL team. Agree that it would add some PR buzz if she were given a legit shot to be an NFL kicker. I wonder if soccer goalies have the accuracy because elite goalies seem to boot the ball about 70+ yards.

I think the goalies could be amazing punters.

Elite keepers.  Ah, yes.  Strong legs, they.

I will clue you in - directionally they are equally adept.  And with either peg.

Would have been grand to have Carly say, "can I take one left-footed now?" - really leave their mouths agape.  But she is ever so humble.

(sucks she sits for some of the undeserving lot that they trot out on the pitch in international play)

I guess you already heard this news. I had not until a few minutes ago.

Wow.

That will shake up some expectations. The Jacoby Brissett era has begun in Indianapolis!
