The usual 1 assist - and 3 turnovers.
Johnson's a sniper - will eat some of Oubre's minutes.

I need to get a look at Cam.  A 23 year old 1st round pick (#11), turns 24 Feb 31.  So same as age as Uber (Cam two months younger).

My guess is Cam might steal time from Saric and Bridges.
Uber being too important to what the Suns do.
Does Cam play D, or does he play D like a rook?
PHX can score, but needs to defend.
(btw, Cam averaging 1 assist in 22 mins;  Uber 1.6 assists and turnovers in 32 mins)

Cam was a surprise pick at 11.  Even his own teammate coby white was stunned.  If your own teammates are shocked where you went it shows you're not the most highly thought of athlete.

He's not a good defender.  He's a sniper.  Hitting 40% from deep.  He has the size and the motor to be a decent team defender.  John Wallace type.

Already hearing rumbles that this is an underperforming draft class.

JaMorant looks like a future all-star.
Paschall the Big Surprise as the #41 pick putting up 17 PPG.

RJB is down to 40 / 30 /53 shooting splits.

PJ Wash & Brandon Clarke have shown flashes.
Thybulle a nice later pick #20, showing 2-way potential.

I assume many more will find their footing at a later date ...

Portland Trail Blazers swingman Rodney Hood tore his left Achilles tendon in the first quarter Friday night.

Morris trade still in play ...

Q:  Who was in the Melo role before Melo?

A:  Zonja.

Clarke's efficiency is insane
Hachimura alsso playing quite well.  I want us to look very  closely at their Zags teammate Killian Tillie this year in round 2.
Johnson and Herro of course are the snipers.  Celts from what I hear wanted Tyler Herro but Riles and company pounced and broke their hearts.  C's know talent, even if they did pass on Ball and Fultz.  :)

Hardaway Jr shooting 54/48/92 his last ten games (8 wins)

Mavs have won 10 of 12.

Yeah, hoping for that injury if we want a high 2021 pick

heh

Tim Jr. still the same streaky mofo.

He was 4-24 on 3's his last 4 games.
Then busted out with a 9-12 scorching.
Which is a crazy way to get to 36% in his last 5 games.

His 5 games before that 4 game 4-24 slump?  20-33
4 games before that?  3-21
Is there a streakier 3-pt shooter in the land?

It hasn't mattered though.
Doncic is that good.
Inserting Hardaway into the starting lineup and playing outscore'em hoops has worked.

DAL had 3 games in a row with 137 or more points.

MIA had 3 starters over 30 Pts and the other (Butler) with a triple-double.
Bam had a 30 Pt trip-dub as well.

Duncan Robinson was 10-14 on 3's.
46 / 45 / 94 on the season.

MIA always seems to get the best out of role players.
Kendrick Nunn and Duncan Robinson two nice stories this year.
Dragic and Winslow have missed a lot of games.  Hasn't mattered much.

Duncan Robinson played his first college season at Williams College. That's mind-boggling to me.

The Frog returned and INDy got a nice W over the Smelts.
Brogdon 15-15 on FT's.
The Holidays combined for 35.  They filled in nicely and now in pretty good form.  Sabonis with a near trip-dub (8 assists).

Almost impossible line from the Holidays

Both shot well (7-14, 8-9)

But Justin was a +1 and Aaron a +29 in similar minutes.

Must have been some run in there

Breakout game for Seth Curry: 30 / 7 /4 in 34 mins.
Stepped up for Tim's 1-6 FG 2 Pt performance.
Seems like it's been a quiet year for Scurry 1.0.
Will help DAL if he can get going.

Courtly went from starter to DNP guy.
I think Carlisle wanted his D to stabilixe things initially, but then realized how passive Courtly is, and decided to go with more firepower.
They've been winning with Tim Jr. as starter, even as he continues to be streaky as they come.

Courtly on his 8th team in 12 years.
The guy has a career shooting splits: 45% / 39% / 85%
And a fairly solid defender.
But just far too passive to make an impact.
Kind of a strange career.  Became a journeyman just for lack of aggression.  Now 34 and about done.

Phil overpaid for Courtly after Afflalo and Tim didn't pan out.
With guys like Tim, Courtly, Crabbe et al. getting big money contracts it's safe to say that 3 Point shooting pays well.

Probably biggest $$ wastes go to 3-point shooters who don't play D and are erratic, and C's who are unimpactful (Mahinmi et al.)

Seth is a very talented sniper in his own right.  No doubt.

Tim didnt like the tamales.

Good coaching there - staying with the hot hand (take notes, Fiz)

Cleveland gets 83 points from Love/Sexron/Clarkson - beats San Antonio on the road.  First road win in over a month.

Wanted to see how it transpired (play by play on Yahoo) - and sure enough -  CAVS DOWN THREE and hit a three pointer with 7 seconds left.

Even POP is not immune to the stupidity of not fouling.

Spurs had actually gone up FIVE with :20 on the clock.  Allowed a passive D layup by Sexton to get it to THREE - then DeRozen yakked 2 free throws, opening the door for the tying 3 pointer and overtime.

Sick - especially for a Spurs moneyline bettor.

Nice to see Marquise Chriss contributing for GS.
Just had 12 & 13 & 5 with 2 blocks in 23 mins v Utah.
B2B double doubles with multiple blocks.
Just 22 years old.
81% FT, whereas he averaged just 61% his first two seasons in PHX.
