Fuck LeBron.  How many superstars does one "All time great" need to win?

Only makes Ewing's case stronger for a better ranking.  Who the hell did Patrick ever have to play with that was worth a damn?

No super-star (except Hakeem) did more with less.

Yeah, the manufactured super-team.  And then they blow a Finals to an inferior Mavs team.  And go 2-2 in the Finals.

As for Durant, there were many years where he played sub-par defense for OKC.  And he used to routinely choke in the clutch.  Sure he played well and won two titles when he joined a team that was already a title favorite.  I'd mark him down a good deal.

I'll take Dr. J, West, Havlicek, the Malones, KG; maybe Pippen and Rick Barry ahead of Durant.  Probably Elgin if I ever saw him play.  Barkley, The Admiral, Wade, Stockton -- Durant might fall in that tier.  Was Durant better than Ewing?  I'd likely have him closer to 30.

Good draft.  That 21-30 is impressive

Unfortunately, Knix took Jerian Grant #19.
But I don't see much in 21-30.

The 2nd round, 31-41 was pretty nice: Montrezl, Richaun Holmes, Willy, Josh Rich, Connaughton.  Norm Powell #45.

Weird draft, since 6 of the Top 9 shouldn't have been near that high.  Including 3 or 4 so far busts.

I still think Winslow was overrated.
Went about where he should.
And I'd take MyTurn over Winslow without hesitation.
Turner is a nice two-way player, with an inside-outside game.
Just could use more aggression, to up his motor a little.

I was speaking to what was linked - 21-30 in the redraft, not the actual draft

Cheers

I think Memphis is poised to be very good next year with Winslow aboard.  Still likely too young

Dieng
Valenciunus
Jaren J
Winslow
Marant
B Clarke
D Brooks
G Allen
Ky Anderson
Ty Jones
Guduric

add picks 22 and 40

add  from exception money (salaries at 113 mil)

Lets not forget - Winslow played PG in Miami - could see some off the ball Marant sets from the mind of Taylor Jenkins

TRIVIA

Name the 2 players in the Top 30 in all-time NBA scoring who didn't make ESPN's Top 74 all-time players.

Jordan had one (Pippen).  LeBron has had Wade, Bosh, Irving, Love and now Davis.  Not even a comparison.

Kncks - if no deal up - nab Anthony, leaving aside Okongwu, Hayes, Haliburton and Carey

Love & Bosh were both all-stars who had been lead dogs on their teams for years.  Nice luxury for LeBJ to have a player of that caliber as 3rd best player/option on his team(s).

Also I'll give MJ credit for helping mold Pip into a star, as opposed to LeBJ who teamed up when stars were available to be teammates.

I'm pretty sure that's their exact same mock from a few months ago just with a new date slapped on it.  Mannion way up high @ 12.  Saddiq Bey 23.  Vassell down around our 2nd round pick.  Us picking a Scrubb in the 2nd round.

Some thinking has changed since then, and this doesn't reflect that.

And I look stupid.

Neither of those guys ever led a team.
Grant made one all-star team.
Nice players, but not of the caliber of a Bosh or Love.

As for telling me what to do.
You can just Fuck Off.
It's a message board.
You don'[t like what's written, LEAVE.  Disafuckingppear.

No one would miss you.
No one likes you here.
Because you act like an asshole, like your opinion is somehow important, like you know shit you don't.
You're also rude, and induce other people to be rude as well.
Would hate to have to deal with a cretin like you in the real world.
I have enjoyed your metamorphosis into quoting Trump though.
That's been amusing.

Also, better luck with cap locks.
Looks like drunk and stupid posting to me.
The stupid part you can't help, but try not to post while drunk or cAPS lOCK is on ...
Idiot.

Definitely.  Pippen was a nice player, but you saw what happened when he was asked to be THE MAN.  He had the worst moment of his career in the biggest stage he had been asked to play, in that game where Kukoc made the winning shot and he had checked himself out of the game at the end of the bench.  Jordan covered for a multitude of sins, even those of a great player.   I think playing with Jordan really elevated Scottie early in his career.  In fact, when Scottie first got to the Bulls he really struggled against physicality in the playoffs and was dubbed "fragile", you could push him around physically and mentally (remember the migraines in the playoffs?). Jordan toughened him up.  Then when there was no Jordan, Pippen played very well but not well enough to get past the Knicks.  The one time the Knicks beat the Bulls in the playoffs was the one time Pippen had to lead on his own.  Pippen was an amazing 2nd option, but he's not in the HOF of leaders.  Can't say that about D-Wade.  Let alone all the other top dawgs LeBron has had as his 2nd and 3rd options.
