The poisoning has gone on for an age. It is amazing that the wrinkled, wattled, liver spotted baby has hung on for so long, especially with so little going for him by way of brain function.

People working in a large fast food co in America are being paid $8 and $9 an hours. this is not even enough to rent anywhere to live in America not even a small apartment in the 'boonies'..and buy food etc.
The Youtube video calls it 'slave wages'.
It goes on to allege that American workers are not being paid enough by billion dollar corporations that have them working 60 hours a week and no paid parenting leave, no paid vacation leave...no vacation leave at all much...and low wages.
Video alleges that American workers are unaware of just how badly they're being treated...people in the back blocks of Africa are being treated better.
That American workers are set 39 hours a week in no-benefits jobs, benefits start in 40 hours a week job.
The fast food chain workers are being paid $8 and $9 an hour...same workers in Norway [or Sweden, Denmark or somewhere like that] get $22 an hour.
Why? the video asks.
It answers; "Because they [billion dollar corporations] can [get away with paying such low wages as there are no laws to make them pay more.]
That in America it's all about "profits".

When will President Joe Biden be making laws so that American works get paid more?

Turn off Youtube and read a book about how laws are enacted in the United States.

No conscience

Seems to be.
The lack of workplace laws, minimum wages and conditions the big problem.
The video detailed how if you're at the bottom of the ladder you have very little chance of ever getting off it.
No wonder people turn to crime.
No wonder millions of people are homeless.

I think the minimum wage in California is going up to $15.50 with the new year. But, it is still hard when a one bedroom apartment costs $1,500 per month.

We need to have hostels for $15 per night so the people who are working for minimum wage can take a nice hot shower and so they can sleep in a nice comfortable bed.

We also need to improve public transportation, and bicycle lanes, etc, for the people who cannot afford cars.

$15.50 per hour is certainly better than $8 or $9.
$124 for 8 hours work is certainly better than $64.

Yes. "the working poor"...why "van life" (including "car life") is so prevalent and ever increasing.

Then there's the question of "benefits".

All Johnny Rambo wanted was something to eat, but oh no, the cops had to start *WW3* ... if only they/the town had one of your hostels...free to people who were of little means.
The whole war the cops started could've been avoided.
No respect for a "soldier boy", war veteran.
No "thank you for your service, let us show our gratitude...come over to the diner for dinner and you can stay at the motel free for a week, you look like you need a rest ".

When I was in Rome I lived in a hostel for $15 per night and my roommates were Italian soldiers from Sicily. And we had Gianni's coffee shop where we could get a nice sandwich and a cappuccino. And we had the Church of Saint Lawrence where we could pray. There was also a music school in the neighborhood and lots of musicians lived there, the Saint Louis College of Music was in the neighborhood. There was a business owner in the neighborhood who played guitar for Peter Gabriel. It was a great neighborhood, and there was a subway that went to the movie studio, Cinecitta. Rome is an amazing place. And the women in Rome are beautiful.

So we can have hostels like in Rome here in the USA.

And yes Bambu, the soldiers can stay at the hostels, like the Sicilians do in Rome. And the Veterans can own the hostels, and the Veterans can manage the hostels, etc. We can learn a lot from Rome.

Johnny Rambo should be able to get a shower and a bed, and have a place to pray, and a place to eat a sandwich and get a good cappuccino.

President Biden is joining the effort to help the homeless in the USA. One big way to help the homeless is to let people own and run hostels tax free, and keep it affordable at $15 per night for a shower and a bed. The entrepreneurs can help the homeless. And the entrepreneurs can open other services for the people in the areas where the hostels are, such as coffee shops, convenience stores, laundromats, book stores, etc.

Also HUD needs to build a lot of housing, and we need to build nice housing as we build. And Habitat for Humanity needs to build a lot of housing, etc. And people need to remember to include swimming pools and tennis courts as they build, and the neighborhoods need libraries, etc.

Of note, here in Anaheim four billion dollars is being spent to improve our city and to attract more tourists, and more money will be spent, and that is the best way to escape from poverty collectively, we can spend and build our way out of this crisis, and we can expand the services for our tourists. We also need to build a high speed train between Anaheim and Las Vegas.

On the issue of crime, we need to make our immigrants legal so that they can call the police to report crimes, and so that they can get help in the case of an emergency. One third of our people here in California are immigrants who were foreign born, and we need for our immigrants to be able to report crimes, and we need for our immigrants to be protected by our laws.

You cannot solve the issue of high crime just by building prisons and by hiring cops, instead we need to build schools and we need to have more programs for the kids, and we need to raise better children. We need to build schools instead of prisons.

It is good that Biden wants to help the homeless, and Mayor Bass is helping the homeless, etc, everyone needs to work together to help the homeless during this crisis, and the entrepreneurs can help too if they are allowed to contribute tax free services, etc.

And we need to have more Wellness Centers and Mental Health Associations.

Indeed.
Access to healthcare for every American no matter their means would be a very good start.

One guy on Youtube does street interviews in NYC with passers by, asking them what they do for a living.

So why have Republicans fought against that for 12 years?

Everyone in the OC has healthcare through Cal Optima, no one is left out.

And anyone can go to the Wellness Center in Orange, and also to the Mental Health Association in Santa Ana which also has a thrift store.

The problem with giving everyone health care and mental health care is that we have a shortage of doctors and psychiatrists.

We have been bringing in doctors from the Philippines, and psychiatrists from Vietnam, etc. We are importing our talented doctors here, but we should also train the local youth to grow up to be doctors, we need to train our children to grow up to be doctors. And we need to give the youth a free ride through medical school if they will help the homeless.

We have UC Irvine here in the OC which is one of the best medical schools in the world, and then for psychiatrists we have San Diego State University. We need to train more doctors and psychiatrists.
