From another US forum, where they were, shall we say 'discussing' the result in the Voice referendum.
One's opinion was that people in the cities voted Yes and "backward country people" voted No'.

I wrote "Backward country people"?

"Can you change the gearbox on a tractor?"
"Can you grow crops to top shelf standard?"
"Can you raise cattle and sheep to top shelf standard?"
etc.

You should sell your home, give all the cash to the nearest Native American tribe, and go live in a tent in Chicago, in the sporting park where they'll be housing the latest influx of migrants from Mexico.
Oh, the Black community there is outraged about it, as their kids will be losing all the sporting facilities there, soccer etc...all their exercise and outdoor health activities...so it can be given to the migrants.

Gaza was lost to Israel 75 years ago in the Arab/Israeli War because the Arabs would not accept a partitioned Palestine.
Most of Gaza residents then were Arab refugees , predominantly Jordanians.

Israel relinquished military and political control of Gaza in 2005.
In 2007 Hamas took power over Fatah, a rival Palestinian faction.

Israel does control Gaza airspace and border crossings and , along with Egypt,  imposed a blockade on Gaza when the Islamic militant group seized power from rival Palestinian forces in 2007 . The blockade is to prevent Hamas, a recognized terrorist organization, from amassing weapons of war.

The international community sends billions of dollars of aid to Gaza due to its isolation, but there is no accounting of how much of that aid has been redirected by Hamas to its constant goal of destroying Israel.

When Right was just a political lean, it was possible for couples to have fun with differences - I knew a few like that.  Now it is a Trump cult, a secular religion with its own weirdly self-harming rituals.
