Global energy developers Equinor and BP on Wednesday announced they are canceling the contract for a massive wind project slated for construction off the coast of New York.

New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) to terminate the offshore wind renewable energy certificate for their Empire Wind 2 project. Equinor and BP explained that commercial conditions, namely inflation, interest rates and supply chain disruptions, prevented its contract for the project from remaining



Biden touted this project as a key to Bidenomics.

If commercial conditions such as  inflation, interest rates and supply chain disruptions are hindering wind projects then Bidens policy approach is exactly what is needed to help future projects as they face such global economic disruptions.  Government support for wind can really help bring this form of energy to maturity.  Good work, Joe!

Harvard chooses presidents for leadership and administrative and people skills, not always for scholarship.  Her work as a scholar is the red herring the Right enjoys chasing.   McGeorge Bundy was appointed Dean at Harvard with a bachelor's degree in math, a field in which he did not distinguish himself.  If he wrote a derivative paper on math ( a pun for any mathies out there), no one mentioned it or questioned his tenure on that basis.  No one would have cared.

If Gay's Right-wing detractors were critcizing her on her leadership skills at the Harvard helm, that would be a line of argument I could respect whether or not I agreed.  But the laser focus on social science papers, a field in which people constantly borrow ideas and data from colleagues, tells me that this is people with an axe to grind who have predetermined what they will find.

Her ineptness rang up a Billion Dollars in lost donations,(the chief job of the President is to raise money)
and her plagiarism follies flew in the face of a school whose motto is
