I would like nothing more than Mets being 3 games up in loss column to Braves

But it can't be a sweep, right?

Manfred:

"Over the last week we have engaged in thoughtful conversations with clubs, former and current players, The Players Association, and The Player's Alliance (??).... to listen to their views.  I HAVE DECIDED......"

Listened to both sides, did ya?

Your assumption that all former and current players view things from one side is entertaining. I am sure that Curt Schilling would be surprised to learn how he sees things, as would have Bunning in the past, among many other very conservative MLB players past and present.

Yes, he likely listened to both sides.

So have I.

Happy Easter, all.

You lose. Phils sweep. Alec Bohm plays hero in the 8th, Hoskins scores the winning run. Eflin goes 7IP, 1R, 1BB, 8Ks.

So, pinch me, but the Phightin's start the season with a sweep of the favorite to win the Division, get great starting pitching from all 3 starters, and limit the Braves to 3 runs in 3 games.

They're reward is now facing Jacob deGrom tomorrow night (and the mighty Mets), as his start was postponed since Thursday, after Covid killed the Mets series with the Nats.

And the might Orioles sweep, too, and start their season 3-0.

Peace and happiness has broken out all over the Delmarva Peninsula!

Mid-Atlantic doing well as the O's sweep, too.

2 of 3 days, the Sox pitching looked decent but not the hitting. Today, the pitching sucked, too.

You should try reading the posts you respond to, Kid.

MLB said they talked to former and current players.

You challenged, "did they talk to both sides?" as if to suggest that they did not, but in your usual mealy-mouthed way to avoid owning your own words.

I know they talked to Players Alliance guys - that would be former and current players

Did MLB talk to all 30 teams in a conference call - get that input?

Even talk at length to Braves front office/ownership?

Regarding these important talks of yours...
What did you want MLB to say?

Are you guys okay with us withdrawing the ASG from a state that has shown that it doesn't support equal opportunities to vote in free and fair elections?

Oh, you're not?

Why not?
