OPS+ of 138 vs 136 for KGJ

Next 4 years Griffey shoots up to 155, 149, 171, 171

Then he has the injury in '95 (down to 122 OPS+) - but of course beats the Yanks in first playoff round (1.488 OPS - heh)

Juan got his work cut out for him.
Of course none of that counters my opinion that Soto is better hitter at 20 than Griffey was at 20.

We'll just let that one stand for itself.

Umpire being investigated for a tweeted rant in which he demonstrated that he listens to "Mr. Graham" rather than reading the Constitution, kind of like Kid.

Houston may have a problem.

It was a perfectly nice tight pitching match-up til Houston went and ruined it.

Yes, going down 2-0 at home is not the best way to get a World Series underway.

These have to be their role models, as they are the only teams to come back from down 2 lost at home, in a 7 game WS.

The 1985 Kansas City Royals over the St. Louis Cardinals, 4-3.

• The 1986 New York Mets over the Boston Red Sox, 4-3.

• The 1996 New York Yankees over the Atlanta Braves, 4-2.

I was thinking of the '86 Sox as the Nats were pounding away tonight.

Verlander now 0-5 in WS starts.

Go figure.

Hinch decides not to make it a 3-inning bullpen game.

JV 90+ pitches after 6

6 starts...

Is hard to figure, except that he has faced strong pitching from the other side

2017 for instance - 12 innings, 5 hits 2 bb 14k and doesnt win?

23 year old rookie his first 2 outings in '06
