ALEX VERDUGO (single, triple 2 steals tonight) is what you thought Benintendi was

Shame Sox had to deliver Betts and Price to LA to get him

Seattle sacrifices runner to third

THANK YOU - finally we will see how this works out

(Would love to see numbers as we get deeper in season - how many teams that are tied into the tenth and BUNT the runner over as away team go on to win the game)

As I recall the expected value (using several decades or so of actual game data) of runs scored of hitting away runner on 2nd no outs, is higher than sac. bunting the runner to 3rd. (runner on 3rd, 1 out)

walks, damns walks and statistics.

fucking walks killed the Sox tonight.

and Verdugo is a similar type player to 10D.

and lets remember when you were dumping on him for reasons still unknown, he finished 2nd in ROY to Judge, had a 2.8 WAR, followed by 4.8 WAR in his second year, and was considered by most neutral observers to be a highly valued young player on the come.

All of them. Well, unless the batter cannot bunt.

So at least we agre in agreement the Sox move off of Tendi as a major buldling block was positive

Boston can hope the kid pitcher Winckowski amounts to something

He had an off '19 and a miserable '20. IMO they sold low and got a very modest return.

I can agree its spilled milk.

Pedro didn't ask out of games.

Meanwhile, that A's  set an all-time record for MLB with the longest winning streak in April, which was snapped today at 13.

Congrats, Bob "Underated" Melvin.

Bumgardner pitch 7 innings of no-hit ball...

It's NOT a no-hitter.
