Between the anti-Cora voice of The Kid and the misanthropic tones of Hamilton, you would think that Eeyore and Marvin the Paranoid Android were posting instead of humans.

Happy to see class acts like Bogearts and JD Martinez make the post.  And the kid VERDUGO, the only way to stomach losing Betts, come up big in key spot.

Future bright?  Not so sure - but Boston has the NOW.

That's an excellent team and one built in such a way as to be far more likely to win a one game winner-take-all as their upcoming opponent in that one game.

While the Yankees advantage seems to be Cole, he's been oddly inconsistent the last month.

Can't know if Dalbec will be the 2nd half player with .955 OPS or the 1st half with .673; if Schwarber will be 2021 more than 2015-2020; or if Nick Pivetta of Boston will continue to pitch a full run below Pivetta of Philly; but there is good reason to think Boston's future is brighter than the present.

But the present ain't half bad!

So...

Messrs Houck and Whitlock show quite well down the stretch.  Nice to see.

Apologies to K Hernandez, who has had himself a fine season and is a key versatile glue player every winning team needs.

Get it done, Alex.

I expect a walk-off win for the RSN, tonight.
