Which if you've seen Benintendi plays LF, should make you question how DWAR is calculated, and whether there is anything particular about Fenway's LF which might effect calcualtions, or whether playing next to a GG-calibre CF might impact put-outs recorded.

FWIW Yaz, generally considered the gold standard of Sox LF, won his 2nd GG in 1965 with a DWAR of negative 1.0,

I was more curious about your pissing on 10D for the past 2 years, and thought it serendipitous that within 24 hours of you giving me a resason for your 10D disdain, his D, het gets named a GG Finalist.

I thought it was pretty funny.

I generally agree with you, Betts, and Moreland. 

I'd like to see JBJ's body of work in CF get recognized.

Actually if all you said was that 10D was overated on D, that would be a plausible response. BUT you've been ragging on him for the past two years.

So you're not fooling anyone but yourself.

And if you had not responded to my question and specifically said he was overated on D, which is a perfectly fine position to take, your most pointed specific comments about 10D concerned his haircuts and his weight gain.

But your takes on a guy who should have a long and successful MLB career, have uniformly been negative and vague.

Again, fine, but never supported.

Or why the guy who was 2nd in the '`17 AL ROY voting to a histrorically great year by Judge, was deserving of your constant negatvity.

So  lets not for a moment pretend that if he was not nominated a GG finalist, you would have for a second, suggested he would be a good nominee.
