Would make more sense to move migrants to states/regions where agriculture predominates and there are usually abundant unskilled labor jobs which are hard to fill with native citizens.  (yes, obviously the Martha dump is a political stunt by DeSatan, who doesn't mind using human beings as pawns in his Far Right Frat Boy pranks)  But no one dare does that, because it would validate the value of all those immigrants with strong work ethics and willingness to grab the bottom rung.  As always, chaos is the point.
Martha s Vineyard has styled itself as a sanctuary destinationthat welcomes migrants  a position it took early in former President Donald Trump s administration.
And they are living up to it with their welcoming hearts. Which you cannot stand.
Not a surprise since Massachusetts is run by a GOPer, and Trump designated the Vineyard as a sanctuary.
It is the reaction of Biden and his elitists who reflects the sheer hypocrisy of the left.
They are the ones screaming INHUMANE, etc.

And they took these folks in without reservation.

The folks were relocated to a Cape Cod military facility with $50 cash cards.

The stunt backfired. The nation saw the migrants received with support and empathy and they saw DeSantis and Abbott looking like a bunch of dicks at a frat part.

Would have been a different story if they sent the migrants before Labor Day when the summer industry shuts down.
It is just like RedDickJimmEspn to love a punk ass move, and when it backfires celebrate it as if it succeeded.

but this isn't about making sense or efficiently providing help.
LOL!

But the border is CLOSED according to Biden.

So he does not give a shit what happens to those tens of thousands of documented illegals, many dealing in drugs and killing Americans with fentanyl, etc.  Let Texas, Arizona, Florida, et al deal with them.
But do not send them places where Obama lives or rich elitist democrats eat and play.

That would be INHUMANE!

I believe the Administration said the border was SECURE.

Supervisor Kathryn Barger

September 15, 2022

The County of Los Angeles has seen a significant rise in RVs in homeless encampments. The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted today to get non-working RVs off our streets and to create a program that offers safe and legal RV parking spots accompanied by supportive services for those experiencing homelessness.

----------------

Acton, California, would be a good place for the people to park their RVs and to live in their RVs, and services for the homeless people can be provided in Acton. Instead of taking away someone's RV and making them homeless, the RVs can be towed, and driven if they run, to Acton, and services can be provided for the people in Acton.

I lived in my RV at an RV park in Lancaster, and it was $300 per month for my space rent. There was a 24 hour 7-Eleven next to the park so we had a 24 hour convenience store. I set up 3 barbecue grills, and I cooked tacos and burritos and stuff for my neighbors, and I had a blender and we made margaritas. It was kind of dangerous, a lot of the people were ex convicts, and mentally ill Veterans, etc, but I made friends with the people by feeding everyone. I am a good cook, and the people liked me because I fed them all.

People can create more RV parks in Acton and they can add services such as a pharmacy, and homeless services, and a Social Security office, and a medical clinic, etc, and 7-Elevens can be built, and grocery stores, etc. There can be a huge RV community in Acton, it is the perfect spot for an RV community.

Salute,

Tony V.

I love Florida, and I loved living in Florida as a kid, we lived right on the beach in Cape Canaveral, and I had a step dad who was a supervisor on the Space Shuttle, when the Shuttle program went from the desert in California to Florida we went with the Shuttle program, my step dad was one of the main bosses on the Shuttle program.

Florida is beautiful, with great beaches, and beautiful women, Florida is great.

But DeSantis is an idiot, he does not deserve to live in Florida, he has no idea what Florida is all about, and he does not understand what the USA is all about. We are a nation of immigrants, and we have our Statue of Liberty welcoming the homeless masses. And Florida has an orange juice industry, DeSantis could easily have sent the immigrants to work in the orange juice industry in Florida.

Here in California we have Sunkist and the immigrants can always find jobs with Sunkist, and Sunkist could use the free publicity, DeSantis can send the immigrants to come to California to make orange juice, etc, and then the whole world would rather drink California orange juice instead of Florida orange juice. I bet the orange juice growers in Florida are upset with DeSantis.

We are a sanctuary nation, and DeSantis is an idiot.

Send the immigrants to California, and we can put them to work with the United Farm Workers, etc.

Salute,

Tony V.

David Brooks is sometimes an alert voice of reason.

The net effect of these strategies has been to sell a lot of books and subscriptions and to make anti-Trumpists feel good. But this entire barrage of invective has not discredited Trump among the people who will very likely play the most determinant role....

The people who convict trump will receive instructions when they are impaneled to set aside their personal opinions and follow the law. Invective in books should have no bearing one way or the other.

DeSantis has set an ironclad precedent for snatching up republican governors without consent and dumping them in places they do not want to go.

The best thing to do is allow "good people" immigrants in, and keep "bad people" immigrants out.
This can easily be done by having "closed borders" and an orderly and thorough immigration system.
Some prospective immigrants are lovely people who will be an asset to America.
Other prospective immigrants are horrible people who will be nothing but a serious menace to America.

You have convinced me. I am starting a petition for a total ban on Australians, very clearly bad people immigrants to a man.

Mostly, they enter as tourists, and spend heaps of cash...then return home. No welfare cash for life much in America.
No universal healthcare...one guy in an American movie, ex porn star down on his luck who was trying to corrupt an 18 yr old girl at the donut shop with weed, booze and sex...got beaten up by her boyfriend and her parents but couldn't seek medical attention because he had no healthcare.

When I was a teen one of my friends set me up with a girl at a party at his house, and he wanted for me to have sex with her, I was not attracted to her, but I drank some whisky and I went ahead and had sex with her. I should not have done it. I am a Christian and I want to find a wife, it was stupid to have sex with a woman who I was not in love with. Anyhow, the next day after I got home from work, I got a knock on the door, and it was a big guy and I thought he was my Brother's friend because he asked if my Brother was there. The guy asked me to step outside, I thought he was my Brother's friend so I stepped outside. After I stepped outside he beat me up, and he threw me through a window of my Mother's house, cutting my arm by my wrist and severing tendons. It turns out the guy was the girl's boyfriend. My asshole friend set me up with a girl who had a jealous boyfriend and he beat me up, and he damaged my arm permanently, I cannot dig ditches with a shovel so I could never be a landscaper, etc. One arm is weak from being damaged and losing tendons. So, I went to the hospital, and it was the hospital where I was born, and they did not want to treat me because I was poor and I did not have medical insurance. They would not clean my wound, they sent me to a sink and they made me clean my own wound. And then they charged me $1,000 to stitch up my arm, I had to send them monthly payments to pay my medical bill.

I learned a lot of lessons from that experience, I learned that my friend was an asshole and I quit hanging out with him, with friends like that you do not need enemies. Friends are supposed to help each other, not get me beat up. That guy stopped being a friend immediately after that experience.

And I learned not to have sex with a woman who I do not love. I should not have had sex with her. All of those people were bad people and I should not have even been spending time with them, and I certainly should not have had sex with her. So, I quit having sex, until I find a woman who I love. I need to take my time, and find a woman I love. And I need to make sure that I find a good, honest, loving woman who I respect and who I want to be with and who I would want to have as a Mother for my children.

I also learned that everything is about money, and the people at the hospital where I was born were more interested in money than they were about helping me with my wound. I did not have medical insurance, so they did not want to help me. The doctors were not working so that they could help people, but instead they only cared about money.

Those are the biggest issues in my life, being poor, and being lonely. No money, and no wife.

And it is not worth it to have sex with a stranger and to get beat up, that whole situation was bad. Those people were dirt-bags, and the doctors at the hospital in my hometown where I was born were dirt-bags too for not wanting to help me. Doctors are supposed to be in the business of helping people, but some doctors just care about money.

Yes, Bambu, if you do not have insurance then the doctors in America do not want to help you, it is a shame, we need to train more doctors and we need to train them for free, and we need doctors who want to help people instead of only caring about money. And we need to have Universal Healthcare for all Americans.

In Orange County I now have health insurance from the County, I have Cal Optima, and I am so grateful to have medical insurance. California is rich and it is good that poor people like me are being helped by programs such as Cal Optima. And I had a wonderful Christian doctor from the Philippines, he was a wonderful doctor, but he just retired. Now I need to see a Nurse Practitioner instead of a doctor. We need to train more doctors and we need to build more medical schools like UCI here in Orange County, and we need Universal Healthcare.

The world can be hard and cruel, I need to stay away from bad people, and I need to choose my friends wisely. I also need to figure out how to make money, and I want a wife. I want to have money and a wife, I am tired of being poor and alone. My only crime was having my Father die when I was a child, and being poor. I had a few step dads but they were all assholes, they wanted my Mom but they did not want us kids. My current step dad is okay, he is good to my Mom and I tolerate him, I try my best to get along with him.

Anyhow, yes, if you get beat up then some doctors are assholes who do not want to help you if you do not have medical insurance. And the USA needs to have Universal Healthcare.

Salute,

Tony V.

Yes, Tony...life is all about money...Abba sang it true:  "Money, money, money, in a rich man's world".
Yes, dirtbag-bad people are everywhere, literally everywhere.
They'll bash you senseless with the slightest provocation.
The world is hard and cruel. Some people get lucky, usually the rich, and don't suffer its daily horrors.
Some people are born into rich families in America. Others are born on garbage dumps in Asia and spend their whole lives there. Others suffer the evil of Russia.
It's the luck of the draw.
The US does need to have Universal Healthcare.
If I were a Republican Presidential candidate against Biden or whoever Dem it might be, I'd be promising "Free healthcare for all".

Sex with strangers is a very dangerous thing to do, for many reasons...one of which being what happened to you.
Friends, baaah...look what they did to you. Friends are best selected very very carefully, and only allowed into one's inner circle [even if the inner circle is only one person, you] after thorough testing.

If anyone has Josh's email, he might want to know I've found a fix for the logon problem.  Install the DuckDuckGo browser app.  No glitch, no weird SSL protocol message, just logs right in.  Am starting to suspect the glitch is only in handshaking between Android chrome and the site.   Cheers.

Anyone who reads The Post... look at Dana Milbank column today, on the MyPillow guy.  All the pillow puns fit to print and a few more.

Please see my post previous to Ward's formatting fuckfest, to get a sense of the dishonesty baked into his bloopers.
