45 days in office, the shortest PM term since the Duke of Wellington in the 1830s. The current UK economy is what happens when you let conservatives run your country for a dozen years.
The Margaret Thatcher years notwithstanding.
Maggie sucked. She drove that dwindling empire straight into a ditch. Only the EU and Labour have done anything to improve the English situation.
Everything else is vacant right wing jibber jabber, the senseless farts of dying animals.
She did inspire some terrific music across the spectrum from Elvis Costello and Billy Bragg to The Specials.
My favorite though was the English Beat and Stand Down Margaret!

Tony, I have been to Florida more than twenty years more recently than you have. While republican influence has instigated a big decline all across the country, not to mention much of the world, Florida and Texas, and many states in their corridor have fallen farther and faster than the rest. This both makes all aspects of life more terrible there while eroding whatever intrinsic good these places had before republican takeover, while muting the influence of republicans in other places that loser republicans leave to move to Florida where they can freely fuck each other up without restraint.
Food, services, traffic, roads, and power are all fucked in states under republican control as crime and disease run rampant and unchecked within them.
This is why republicans only win when they get away with their cheating and why they no longer have the capacity to do anybody any good.
