Biden is in Mexico right now...

https://apnews.com/article/biden-north-america-summit-mexico-updates-871328ff21fc6a87b698742f6e9ed3d4

We need to improve relations with Mexico, and we can ship goods up from Mexican ports to the poor people in Kentucky with Mexican truck drivers, to feed and clothe and supply the people of Kentucky while we build schools in Kentucky and while we send the people of Kentucky to school to learn the jobs of the future. And we need for the people of Kentucky to know how to build the top of the line Apple Laptops, etc, it would be great if Apple could do manufacturing in Kentucky. We can send cheap food and clothes and supplies to the people of Kentucky from Mexico and from Latin America while we send the people of Kentucky to school.

And we need to tear down the border fences and we need to work together as a team.

We also need to make our immigrants legal so that they can call the police in the case of an emergency, and so that they can join labor unions, and so that they do not have to hide in the shadows. We need to make everyone legal like Reagan did, and we need to write a new law which has a Good Neighbor policy.

I am also concerned about immigrants who die as they ride in the backs of trucks and as they die crossing the desert, etc. We need for our immigrants to simply ride Greyhound buses like everyone else, Greyhound buses, and Amtrak trains, and the Metrolink trains, etc. We need for our immigrants to be able to ride safely on public transportation. And the United Farm Workers and other unions can tell the immigrants where the jobs are and they can just ride a Greyhound bus to go to work at a vineyard in Napa, or whatever. The unions can tell the immigrants where the jobs are, and the Greyhound buses can get the people to work safely.

The drought is over now in the West, apparently, but we need to build more dams and lakes to save more water when it rains, our population is increasing, and we also have more farmers and wineries.

https://andthewest.stanford.edu/2022/does-drought-prone-california-need-another-reservoir/

We need to store and save more water in the West when it rains to provide plenty of water to our people who want lush lawns and also to farmers and wineries.

We can also put water sprinkler systems in areas which are prone to forest fires, as we also work to remove dead trees, etc, and as we manage our forests in a responsible way.

Straight out of my No1 radio host's [now retired] policy 'handbook' "Watering Australia". Sadly the politicians were too dumb to adopt it.
After the BIG drought, the BIG fires, the BIG mouse plague, the BIG floods...and the poor cell reception nationwide once you leave the big cities, and the poor communication systems to warn citizens of the pending dangers...the politicians have awakened slightly.
Some people learnt that "you can't fight a fire storm with a garden hose"...and that "leave early, before you hear the "it's too late to leave" message from the authorities".

No it is not. It is not even over in the areas of California currently awash. Drought is a long term situation not remedied by a brief period of heavy precipitation.

They wouldn't be dying if they weren't trying to enter the country without going thru the proper processes....using people-smugglers or not.
...like background checks, ID checks, health checks.
Finger printing, face scanning, documents checking...like mrs bambu was subjected to at the US-Canadian border as a tourist..."to keep America/Americans safe".

The answer is a guest worker program.
People apply, are checked out, then allowed in to work for a limited time or extended time, or permanently if needed.
Can't be having people waltzing into one's country uninvited, just because they think it's a good idea.

"Guns are great"!!!!

https://www.washingtonpost.com/dc-md-va/2023/01/11/elementary-students-guns-fired-school/

Prosecute the dimwit who allowed the kid to have a loaded gun.
Then, and only then, will things change.

Armed home invaders kill residents.
The bad people have guns, knives etc...if the good people don't have guns ready to fire then they will likely be society's next dead or maimed for life victims.

Anyway, whilever the majority of voting Americans basically want "open borders" and anyone and everyone just allowed into the country as refugees/economic immigrants without any ID, background checks, health checks, limits as to numbers, etc, what's happening now will never change, and only become worse.
Think Joe's border walk was just for show.
More people will try to get in by any means possible, and more people will die trying.
The 'honey' is so inviting that millions are *stampeding* to get at it.
It's obviously what the majority of voting Americans want...no walls, no fences, just walk/swim etc over the open border, where 'cheap' is *king*.

The number of politicians in the US who want Open Borders is vanishingly small. But then you have shown that you willingly and unqueztioningly ingest any chewed up rght wing fantasy Fox News and that mother bird of a radio host you listen to regurgitate down your throat.

California has 1,500 dams now, according to Stanford, so we have changed our environment, we are living better now because we have more water than we otherwise would have, our ancestors made life better in California by building the dams and the new lakes, etc. And my Grandfather helped to build the California aquaduct that runs through the Antelope Valley. We are smart to build new dams, and new lakes, and new aquaducts. Like the Romans. We can live better by using our brains and by building dams, and lakes, and aquaducts. We are not at the mercy of mother nature, or of our environment.

We have people living in the desert of California now, and in Nevada, and in Arizona, and in New Mexico and in Texas, we need to put our new immigrants to work building dams, and making new lakes, and building new aquaducts, etc.

And in California we need water for farming, and for making wine, we turn water into money in California by farming. If you drive down the state of California you will see that California is growing food from the top of the state to the bottom of the state, the whole state of California is growing food, and we need water for the farmers. We need to keep building new dams, and new lakes, and new aquaducts, etc.

We have 60,000 homeless people in Los Angeles who need JOBS, put them to work building dams, and building aquaducts, and making new lakes, etc. And they can put sprinkler systems in the forests to prevent forest fires, and they can remove dead trees, etc. We can put the homeless people to work, and the immigrants and refugees, we can put them all to work building dams, and lakes, and aquaducts.

And we can also build high speed trains, etc.

The homeless people, and the refugees, and the immigrants, etc, can also work planting trees for Sunkist, and they can work picking oranges and making orange juice. In California we use water to grow trees to create jobs and to make money. We turn water into money in California. The whole state of California is growing food. And we need water to grow food.

Galatians 5:22 - 23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

--------

If we all obeyed the Ten Commandments and the Golden Rule, then we would have zero crime. In Rome, Italy, it is the Christian capital of the world, there are churches all over Rome, and they have zero crime in Rome. Rome is the safest big city to open a night club in. I love Rome. And they have the largest movie studio in Europe, Cinecitta.

As we build schools and libraries for the poor and as we educate the poor, then we can also teach them the building construction trades and they can become master craftsmen and architects and designers who can build great spaces for people, and they can become great at the Culinary Arts and people can cook great food, and there can be great restaurants. The whole standard of living can improve as we teach the poor.

And NASA can tell us where the Gold is in Mexico, and we can use the money from the Gold to pave roads, and to build bridges, and to bring in telephones, and electricity, and running water, and radio, and television, and computers, and schools and libraries, etc, to some very poor parts of Mexico.

We can also ship cheap goods up to Kentucky from Mexico with Mexican truck drivers, while we build schools in Kentucky and while we teach the people of Kentucky how to do the jobs of the future.

Also, much of the coffee for the USA is coming from Colombia to New Orleans, Louisiana, and that is the entry point for much of the coffee in the USA. Kentucky is getting Colombian coffee via New Orleans, Louisiana. The ports in New Orleans are important ports. We can ship stuff to Kentucky from New Orleans.

Salute,

Tony V.
