Hi, this is a new online forum, where members of both Third Eye Film and Escape from Elba are invited to join.

https://exelba.freeforums.net/

Some of the trolling issues at Elba will not be issues at Ex Elba, which should make it a more enjoyable alternative. My hope is that by inviting present and past members from both forums could get us to a critical mass of participation that might make for a better online community. I guess we'll see what happens.

Is Admin you at exelba?

Admin is just me setting up the site.  I will moderate as Oil McOilface.  Posts where you address Ward's syphilis or Luee's alleged clitoris will probably land better here.   If old Third Eye members show up, or a few from my old Yahoo sci-fi group, it will be more mixed company, so I'll have to have some limits on invective.

Discretion is the word, Governor.

Pre travel activity has forestalled and other new endeavors, but I should catch a pause some time or another in the next few weeks in which I hope to check it out.

My hometown of Lancaster, California, just started their own local police force, but it will not deal with the everyday normal crimes that the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department handles, the Sheriff's Department will still deal with 911 calls, etc. The new local Lancaster Police Force will help abused women, and the homeless, and the mentally ill, etc, it is going to be wonderful, hopefully. If they help the abused women, and the homeless, then I totally support that.

https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/rodrick-armalin-named-lancasters-first-chief-of-police-committed-to-crime-prevention-strategies-from-day-one-301926280.html

And the cities can have Safe Houses in other cities where they can hide the abused women and children, etc. Abused women from Lancaster can hide in Anaheim, etc, and vice versa, abused women from Anaheim can hide in Lancaster, etc. The cities can help each other to help the abused women and their children.

There also needs to be Mental Health Associations like the one in Santa Ana, and there needs to be Wellness Centers like in Orange. And there needs to be safe Sober Living Homes, etc.

San Diego State University is the best at training Psychiatrists, so they are the school to contact when you want to build a new mental health center.

Salute,

Tony V.

We Aztecs thank you for the compliment.

Good on Lancaster. I hope they hire people with compassion, integrity and good sense.

"For you stole Trevelyn's corn,
so the young might see the morn,
Now a prison ship lies waiting in the bay".

Knock on effects of letting Putin put Trump in the Oval Office. Thank Rupert. You will be feeling the negative aftershocks for years and years.

More like govts and others not believing my no1 radio host (now retired from the major airwaves) when he said, and kept saying, that (man-made) "global warming/climate change" is the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on mankind".

It's really quite a dedicated hoaxer who will raise global temperatures, bleach coral, melt glaciers and ice caps, increase average severity of tropical cyclones, move the center of Tornado Alley several hundred miles east, and shift some species ranges northward, all in a space of a few decades!  My God those pranksters are more industrious than crop circle makers!!

Is 3rd I still active? I lost the link a couple phones ago.

Depends on your definition of active.  Syd still posts.  Grace looks in about once/year.  Gromit posted till about six  months ago.  Weeds pops in if you mention him and promotes himself in some indie film that is impossible to find anywhere.  Carrobin was in process of moving back to the Carolinas (there are two of them, apparently) and quietly slid off the radar.  Due to no moderator it apparently has half a million spambot  members now but none of them can post.  I'm amazed Marc is still paying the domain name fee and web hosting.

Won't take much convincing when the lights and everything else run by electricity go out...and/or their energy bills get so high they cannot pay them.
The radical green dreamers (wise green dreaming is good) seem so mixed up in their minds that they think coal, gas, oil, wood, timber etc fossil fuels can be dumped from the energy mix 'now'/soon, without there being anything reliable, available, affordable to replace them yet.
Mention "nuclear" and they *explode* with outrage.

Oh, and their poster girl Greta got herself arrested ...again...the other day, for blocking an oil port.

Yes, that is exactly what continued reliance on fossil fuels wl lead to. That is the other reason for.green energy.

Bambu will not comprehend a smart adaptive distributed grid replete with storage elements. To do so leads directly to him recognizing himself as a foolish asshole of long standing. Bambu is too fragile a bird to take that weight so he dives headlong the fuck away from the point instead.

Predictable cowardice makes him boring boring boring.

Ah yes, cowardice.
LOL
Send me a white feather, I'll wear it in my hat with pride.

I don't really care where the electricity that fuels my home comes from.
If you think I'm alone in that belief you might wanna think again.

Yes, that is exactly what continued reliance on fossil fuels wl lead to. That is the other reason for.green energy.

Except, of course, the obvious.
There no reliable green energy to replace fossil fuels.
Humans play a very small role in world wide climate change so mothballing the combustion engines, gas stoves, and incandescent light bulbs is stupid. The leftist freaks idiotically  took nuclear energy off the table decades ago so we are left with windmills and solar that offer only intermittent and unreliable energy.
Governments made it worse by subsidizing the technology and weakening our grids.
We cannot wager our future on experimental technologies while eliminating our most reliable forms of energy, including coal.
That is why Biden has to go.
